Jennifer Garner is doing her part amid the devastating wildfires in California.
The “13 Going on 30” star volunteered with a local relief organization to help feed firefighters in Los Angeles combatting the flames on Friday.
Garner, 52, was photographed alongside chef José Andrés, whose not-for-profit, non-governmental organization World Central Kitchen has been providing food for victims of the fire.
The actress, who wore jeans and a blue zip-up, looked somber as she and Andrés walked to a waiting vehicle before their shift.
Garner, who has been an ambassador for Save the Children for 15 years, is very involved with several non-profits in the area. She and ex-husband Ben Affleck joined forces over Thanksgiving to help feed 2,000 homeless and near-homeless people in Los Angeles alongside Midnight Mission.
Over 100,000 people have evacuated the impacted areas as wildfires continue to grow due to 100-mile-per-hour winds. The fires scorched nearly 30,000 acres of land, leaving thousands of buildings in ruins.
Firefighters have worked around the clock amid the multi-day siege, which thankfully showed slight signs of easing on Friday.
While Garner’s home isn’t located in an evacuation zone, Affleck recently bought a $20.5 million mansion in the Pacific Palisades — where one of the biggest fires rages on.
The Oscar winner, 52, fled to Garner’s place earlier this week after being forced to evacuate his home.
The “Argo” actor was seen racing to be with Garner and their three children — Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 12 — on Tuesday night.
He returned to the estate the following day after learning that it was still standing.
“Ben’s home is still under evacuation order, but he feels so grateful his property is safe for the time being,” an insider told Page Six.
“Ben knows many people who unfortunately lost their homes. He has seen a lot of devastation, and it’s beyond tragic. … Ben is reaching out to anybody he can to help.”
While Affleck’s home was left untouched, the same can’t be said for several other celebrities’ homes.
Mel Gibson, Leighton Meester, Eugene Levy, Anna Faris and more are among the stars who tragically lost everything in the fires.
