Jennifer Garner found a fringe benefit to getting bangs.
On Thursday’s episode of Kylie Kelce’s “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, the “13 Going on 30” actress, 53, shared that the haircut has become her go-to alternative to Botox.
“Of course, I’ve tried Botox and all that, but it takes very little to completely freeze my forehead,” Garner told Kelce, 33. “And then I just feel so conspicuous, like I’ve got a walking billboard.”
“I might as well get a tattoo of something, you know, across it. It’s horrible,” she added. “So no, the Botox in the forehead, unfortunately, is not for me.”
While Garner acknowledged her “creasy wrinkles,” she said she’s made peace with them — and found a workaround outside of the medspa.
“They’re gonna have to just be there,” she explained. “So sometimes I get bangs.”
The Once Upon a Farm co-founder has preached caution before when it comes to cosmetic tweaks. She told Harper’s Bazaar last June that Botox “doesn’t work very well” for her, adding, “I like to be able to move my forehead, and it’s such a big part of my face. I have, like, a five-head.”
And in a 2022 interview with the same outlet, the “Alias” alum urged young people to hold off on injectables. “Don’t think that you’re 37 and you need to be shooting up your face,” she said at the time.
Garner did, however, cop to being a regular in the dermatologist’s chair. “Don’t think that I don’t have something in there because I haven’t done surgery,” she said on Kelce’s podcast.
“Once a year, I go see someone and I’m like, I’m a pin cushion,” the mom of three continued, adding that she pays a lot to have the result look invisible. “The more you spend on a dermatologist doing a bunch of things to your face, the less you can tell that they’ve done it.”
As for surgery? The “Elektra” star made it clear she’s keeping that door open — despite the protestations of her three children.
“My kids are like, ‘Mom, promise us you’ll never get a facelift,’” Garner shared. “And I say, ‘I am unlikely to rush toward a facelift, and yet I refuse to make that promise because I am me today, and I don’t know how I’m gonna feel.’”
Kelce — who previously said on her podcast that she plans to skip Botox and filler because she “earned” her wrinkles — agreed, noting that she finds it “silly” to expect anyone to predict how they’ll feel about cosmetic procedures years down the line
“I can’t speak to what I’m going to be doing in 20 years,” the mom of four said. “I can’t even tell you what I’m gonna have for dinner.”
