Bunnie XO is cautioning young people not to hitchhike because it could end up very badly.
The wife of country music star Jelly Roll should know because she dared to hitch a ride with an older man when she was in her teens and it was a harrowing experience.
The topic came up when Bunnie, 45, was reading secret revelations from followers on her Dumb Blonde podcast on January 9, one involving a hitchhiking trip fueled by acid.
The anonymous listener shared that they had run away from home and got into a car with a group of 20-something men who shared the psychedelic drug LSD with them, thanking their ‘guardian angels’ for keeping them safe.
‘I could have ended up on a milk carton,’ the listener stated, meaning they could have been abducted or worse while referring to the public awareness campaign in the States that started in the 1980s.
Bunnie, who previously shared her seven mugshots while reflecting on her troubled past and addiction battle – knew what that was all about because back in the day, she got into a car with an older man despite him being a total stranger.

The podcaster spoke about her own hitchhiking experience, one that made her never want to hitchhike again, though she conceded travel by getting free rides in passing vehicles isn’t such a thing these days as it was in the ‘60s.
‘I have crazy stories like that too, where it literally teaches you so many lessons in one f—— situation,’ Bunnie shared.
‘Tasha and I did get picked up one time whenever we were walking down by the trailer park and we were underage,’ Bunnie said, referring to her best friend of over 30 years, LaTasha Marzolla.
‘Some f—— grown ass man picked us up and took us to his f—— house. Like, the amount of s— that we f—— did.’
Bunnie didn’t divulge what happened at the house, but she did admit that all it took for them to get in the car was the man’s luxury sports car.
‘A Porsche,’ she described. ‘That’s all that it took for us. We were like, “Oh, Porsche.”‘
‘I’d never do that again. True. I f—— learned a lesson,’ Bunnie went on.
Then she warned her listeners: ‘Do not f—— hitchhike. It’s not cool.’

There’s no doubt Bunnie has passed on her hard lessons learned to her two stepkids Bailee Ann and Noah, pictured with their dad Jelly Roll in 2024
The admission comes on the heels of Bunnie’s interview with Extra in which she revealed her life-long mission is to ensure ‘people know that they are loved.’
Bunnie has by her husband Jelly Roll’s side long before they wed in 2016, and has now reflected on her determination to ‘give back to everybody.’
The social media influencer said: ‘I’m so thankful that God has blessed me in a way that I can give back to everybody and that I can give back to all walks of life.
‘There’s never any judgment on my end or my husband’s end.
‘We just want people to know that they’re loved, and whatever we can do to help and bring smiles to anybody’s faces is exactly what we’re going to do.’
Bunnie – who is the stepmother of Jelly’s daughter Bailee Ann, 17, and son Noah, nine – has been with the Wilds Ones hitmaker through thick and thin, including his weight loss journey.
Jelly, 41, recently admitted his sex life was ‘horrible’ before he shed nearly 200lbs.
Speaking on The Joe Rogan Experience, he said: ‘[Before I lost weight, my] sex life with my wife was horrible.

‘Dude, I married a f****** big t**** blonde beautiful woman, dog. You know what I mean? I married the kind of woman that makes you smile when you’re crying, Joe.
‘I couldn’t even get aroused, I was so big. I was having to play Twister to have sex.
‘Left foot here, right foot in the X, you know? Are we in there yet? Tell me if you feel something.
