The Hollywood thespian was born in London but moved to California’s San Fernando Valley as a child.
The transplant attended high school in Los Angeles and then took classes at UCLA.
As a teenager, she started modeling in Japan, which caused her to drop out of college.
She then turned her attention to acting. Bell’s first television acting role was a bit part on the 1990 sitcom Sugar and Spice.
In 1994, Bell starred in the Dolph Lundgren film Men of War about a mercenary who goes to an island in the Pacific to convince the natives to give up their mining rights.
