Manish Goel recently entered TV serial Anupamaa. He plays the role of Raghav in the show headlined by Rupali Ganguly, and his entry has left many intrigued. While his name is revealed, his connection with Anupamaa and family is yet unknown. He is currently lodged in jail and is considered a dangerous criminal. Anupamaa’s adopted daughter Rahi recently found out that Raghav is in jail for allegedly killing his wife; warning Anupamaa of the same. But who is he?
In a recent chat with entertainment news portal Filmibeat, Shivam Khajuria who plays the role of Prem in Anupamaa spoke about the same. The actor was asked about Manish Goel’s character and about the rumours suggesting that Raghav is the biological father of Rahi. To this, Shivam decided to not reveal much. He only praised Manish Goel’s performance and said, “I’m not involved in the storytelling, so I can’t comment on that. But I can say that Manish Goel is a talented performer, and his presence adds a new dynamic to the show.”
Shivam Khajuria also spoke about the upcoming storyline and mentioned that twists and turns are a part of any love story. Adding that Prem believes that love always prevails despite challenges. On TRPs, he avoided commenting as he did not want to jinx it.
In the new precap of Anupamaa, we see that Raghav gets injured. Anu, who has turned a dance teacher for the jail inmates, notices his discomfort. In the meantime, she gets a call from Rahi stating that she has been attacked. The promo, we see that an intruder has entered her home and attacked her. Anu gets completely shocked with the news. Prem and Rahi are now staying separately away from the Kotharis. After Vasundhara burnt their admission papers, Prem and Rahi chose to distance themselves from the Kotharis.
