Somewhere, Lisle von Rhuman is raising a glass.
Irina Shayk stars in Blumarine’s resort 2027 campaign in a bejeweled bra top (or is it a necklace?) that looks like a direct descendant of the look Isabella Rossellini wore as the eternal-youth-peddling villainess in the 1992 dark comedy “Death Becomes Her.”
In the film, Rossellini’s character made her entrance in layers of beaded jewelry strung together as a halter with a red velvet wrap skirt. Shayk’s version swaps the colorful gems for clear crystals and silver metal flowers, but the blueprint is unmistakable.
The supermodel, 40, pairs the piece with a black fringed maxi skirt in one image, swapping it for black briefs, sheer tights and a feather-trimmed cardigan in another.
Creative director David Koma described the collection as “seductive and sensual, daring and delicate, barbed and beautiful.”
At the 2026 Met Gala earlier this month, Shayk wore a dangerously low-rise Alexander Wang skirt with a bra constructed entirely from layered tennis bracelets, chains and strategically placed gemstones.
While it appears to be in line with the Victoria’s Secret model’s latest looks, the bejeweled top with nothing underneath has also become quite a trend in Hollywood.
Anne Hathaway and Jenna Ortega both wore a gem-covered Givenchy by Sarah Burton top with nothing underneath while Doechii put a spin on the same chandelier top style at the 2026 Grammys. Nicola Peltz wore a similar look in FX’s “The Beauty,” a Ryan Murphy-directed show that skewers beauty ideals.
Shayk, meanwhile loves to get edgy, wearing a leather corset gown and matching gloves to the 2026 SAG Actor Awards and more shocking leather looks for V Magazine earlier this year.
