West Wilson showed signs of deep discomfort and “psychological stress” while confronting his secret relationship with Amanda Batula during the bombshell Season 10 “Summer House” reunion Tuesday.

“West did not present as dominant, controlling or strategically manipulative during the exchange. He presented as deeply uncomfortable,” body language expert Susan Constantine exclusively told Page Six

“Throughout the interaction, West repeatedly displayed physiological stress indicators commonly associated with psychological discomfort and conflict pressure,” she added.

Constantine pointed to Wilson’s lip licking, tongue protrusions, ankle locking, thumb manipulation, body contraction, and “reduced verbal certainty,” which she says “all pointed toward autonomic nervous system activation.”

“These are not ‘lie detector’ moments. They are signals that the body is under stress,” she said.

Constantine observed Wilson, 31, having a “highly avoidant conflict style” during the interaction with his castmates.

“Individuals with this profile often regulate emotional tension by withdrawing, minimizing escalation, softening language, or emotionally retreating when pressure intensifies,” she said.

By contrast, Constantine said Batula, 34, was moving “directly toward” the conflict.

“Her communication style during the reunion was forceful, emotionally confrontational, and heavily centered on validation of her own perspective,” she said.

Furthermore, Wilson would “physiologically shut down” the more Batula approached conflict “head-on.”

“This created what behavioral experts often recognize as a classic pursue-withdraw dynamic,” Constantine said. “One partner escalates for resolution. The other retreats for self-protection.”

“Unfortunately, these patterns often become self-reinforcing,” she shared. “The withdrawal makes one partner feel ignored, while the escalation makes the other feel psychologically cornered.”

Constantine interpreted Wilson’s mannerisms as a sign of “conflict paralysis” as opposed to him portraying “calculated dishonesty.”

“His body language suggested someone attempting to survive an emotionally high-pressure environment without escalating it further,” she said.

Batula, on the other hand, appeared to be seeking “emotional validation” through direct confrontation. She also had an “emotional rigidity” throughout the reunion.

“Neither communication style is inherently ‘right,’ but together they created visible emotional incongruence that viewers instinctively reacted to,” she said.

While Wilson and Batula didn’t necessarily display truthfulness or deception, the reunion uncovered “two incompatible emotional regulation systems colliding publicly under pressure.”

Wilson and Batula were confronted head-on about their secret romance during part 1 of the highly-anticipated reunion Tuesday, which was filmed in April.

Andy Cohen peppered the cast with questions, trying to get down to the bottom of how Batula could betray her best friend Ciara Miller by getting into a relationship with her ex and close friend to her estranged husband, Kyle Cooke.

Wilson and Batula claimed that they didn’t sleep together until releasing a public statement on March 31 that they were secretly seeing each other.

The podcast host also danced around Page Six’s report that he and Batula started hanging out while he was in an exclusive relationship with Meija Moreno.

When Miller accused him of having a girlfriend, West clarified that he was “seeing” someone. He also didn’t deny Lindsey Hubbard’s claim that they were in an “exclusive” relationship.

Batula, for her part, admitted that she and Wilson had “a whole conversation about it.”

Mia Calabrese jumped in, telling Batula, “You went from being married to one of West’s side bitches, that’s crazy.”

Miller also supplied receipts of her text message conversation in which she confronted Batula about the rumors she was seeing West, prompting her to shut down the claims.

“I lied, 100 percent lied,” Batula admitted on Tuesday’s episode.

Miller and Batula exchanged tense barbs throughout the reunion, with Batula scoffing at her ex-BFF toward the beginning of the taping.

“I’m prepared to own up to what I’ve done, take accountability, apologize – especially to Ciara and Kyle — and just hopefully be able to explain to everyone’s face what went on and where I’m coming from,” Batula said.

Miller hit back, “I’m glad you can say our name[s] this time.” Her jab referenced how Batula and Wilson did not mention the model or Cooke in their statement about their relationship.

“What?” Batula asked, taken aback, prompting Miller to double down.

Miller also labeled Batula a “snake in the f–king grass.”

“You move silent, but you’re f–king deadly,” Miller said.

Batula and Wilson revealed that they struck up a romance in March, prompting a major fall-out with their Bravo co-stars.

Miller and Wilson notably dated in 2023. They rekindled their romance while filming Season 10 last summer.

The former nurse was a supportive friend during Batula’s separation from Cooke, which came to light in January.

Wilson and Batula are still together and were seen escaping to Italy before the tense reunion aired.

Part 2 of the “Summer House” Season 10 reunion airs June 2 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
