Britney Spears allegedly enjoyed some alone time with a cocktail in the hours leading up to her DUI arrest, a source close to the singer exclusively told Page Six.

“She was alone. She had been at her house and just wanted to go for a drive,” the source said of Spears.

They claimed that the pop star told cops she had “just one single mimosa in the afternoon.”

“It was a mistake. She didn’t think she was under the influence of anything,” the inside further explained.

The Grammy-winning artist had also posted videos of herself dancing at her Thousand Oaks home just hours before she was taken into custody.

The source emphasized that Spears “needs help” and has been working on herself since her conservatorship ended in November 2021.

“But events over the past year have made that journey much, much harder,” the source noted.

The “Toxic” singer, 44, is allegedly hoping the judge will be “lenient on her” and, instead of jail, she’ll receive “proper treatment” and “the help that she needs.”

We’re also told that her family is very much behind her, with her two sons — Sean Preston and Jayden James — showing up for her.

“Her family have been rallying around her. Her sons do not live with her, but they now live close by,” the insider said. “They moved so they could be nearer to her because closeness benefitted all of them and they want to be in her life.”

We’re told the goal is for Spears to attend a treatment center and “start the journey to get better.”

Spears was arrested for driving under the influence by the California Highway Patrol in Ventura County, Calif., at around 9:28 p.m. local time Wednesday.

She was booked at 3:02 a.m. and later released at 6:07 a.m. Thursday, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s inmate record.

Spears is scheduled to appear in court on May 4.

911 dispatch audio exclusively obtained by Page Six captured an officer describing Spears’ Black MMW sedan convertible swerving “in and out of lanes” and “speeding.”

“Can we send all units down towards this area, please?” a cop said in the call.

Page Six also obtained exclusive photos of Spears’ vehicle parked in a tow yard. The BMW was the same car Spears had been driving when she was seen swerving after going to a Thousand Oaks, Calif., restaurant in October 2025.

The “Crossroads” actress’ manager, Cade Hudson, told Page Six in a statement Thursday, “This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable. Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life. Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.”

He added of her sons, “Her boys are going to be spending time with her. Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success for well being.”

Spears was reportedly taken to a hospital for her blood to be drawn after her arrest so officials could determine her blood alcohol content.

TMZ reported that Spears was “telling people [her BAC] was .06.”

California’s legal limit is .08 percent, though individuals can still be charged for driving under the influence if they are seen operating a vehicle erratically.
