This is the luxury £6,000-a-night luxury resort in Mauritius where Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay have brushed aside the bitter family feud that overshadowed their wedding to enjoy a sun-drenched honeymoon.

We can reveal the Olympic swimmer, 31, and influencer bride Holly, 26, are staying at the exclusive One&Only Le Saint Géran – one of the island’s most prestigious five-star hotel and spa complexes.

Their tropical escape comes after a wedding day that laid bare fractures within Adam’s family, following a dramatic fall-out with his mother and brother that culminated in most of his relatives being absent from the ceremony.

Caroline Peaty fell out with the couple after being uninvited from Holly’s hen do, triggering a spiral of arguments within the family, including with Adam’s brother James.

By the time of the wedding at Bath Abbey on December 27, Adam’s sister Bethany was the only member of his family to attend.

Yet, while tensions remain unresolved at home, the newlyweds have now swapped domestic drama for the seclusion of the Indian Ocean.

The couple belatedly flew from London to Mauritius after delaying their 10-day escape while three-time Olympic gold medallist Adam took part in a swimming competition in Romania.

Shortly after arriving, the couple were seen hurrying down to the white sand beach, where Adam posed for selfies with locals.

The property, among the first luxury resorts built on the island in 1975, has attracted a glittering guest list over the years, including Nelson Mandela, George and Amal Clooney, Rihanna and the Prince and Princess of Wales

As well as pools, a beach and spa, the resort also has high-end restaurants and bars for guests to enjoy

Holly announced in an interview following their nuptuals that they would be honeymooning in Mauritius – nut they delayed their trip for a weeks after the wedding and jetted out on Sunday

One onlooker told the Daily Mail: ‘They looked very loved-up and relaxed. Adam was happy to stop and chat and seemed in great spirits.’

Holly later shared a series of curated holiday snaps from Mauritius with her social media followers.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, she posed by the beach in a green bikini and a Miu Miu hat, and in another cosied up to Adam beside a swimming pool.

Elsewhere in the album, captioned ‘Honeymoon so far featuring palm trees…’ Adam appeared shirtless as he took in the scenic surroundings of the island’s north-east Belle Mare coastline.

Le Saint Géran, set on an idyllic private peninsula, offers suites that can soar in price to more than £6,000 a night.

The property, among the first luxury resorts built on the island in 1975, has attracted a glittering guest list over the years, including Nelson Mandela, George and Amal Clooney, Rihanna and the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Guests can even arrive by helicopter, landing on a pad just steps from the beach, while a chauffeur-driven luxury car service is also available.

Private villas on the palm tree dotted estate have reportedly sold for as much as $13.6million (£10.1million).

The couple’s no-expense-spared jaunt has been covered by Holly’s father, Gordon Ramsay, himself a repeat visitor to Le Saint Géran with wife, Tana.

Holly revealed to British Vogue that her parents had paid for the trip to Mauritius as a ‘wedding present’, in what could be viewed as a thinly-veiled jibe at her husband’s absent parents.

She said: ‘We’re going to Mauritius to just lie by the sea – that was our wedding present from my parents. I had to tell Adam we weren’t basing our honeymoon around a 25-metre pool…’

Prior to taking off from the UK, Holly shared a snap of her hand luggage showing off a Christian Dior handbag along with a pair of flippers and a snorkel.

She wrote: ‘The most chic hand luggage, thanks to my husband.’

But should lounging by the sea or three swimming pools lose its appeal, the couple can play tennis, paddleboard, kayak or indulge in the hotel’s Guerlain spa, which houses 12 marble-floored treatment rooms and a tranquil relaxation pool.

The spa offers everything from age-defying facials and body-sculpting programmes to deep-tissue massages and holistic wellness rituals.

The resort also organises private cruises, fishing trips, diving excursions, mangrove kayak tours and guided hikes, as well as food tours and cooking classes.

Each bedroom boasts high ceilings, marble floors and marine-toned furnishings. A three-bed beach suite with breakfast currently costs £6,212 per night, according to the hotel’s website.

Dining is equally lavish, with five restaurants, a patisserie and a beach bar.

At Tapasake, guests can enjoy Japanese tapas, sashimi, soft-shell crab rolls and Wagyu beef, while La Pointe serves fire-grilled fish, burgers, bao buns and tacos just metres from the crystal waters.

Prime, the resort’s steak restaurant, is tucked into a tropical garden setting and has drawn rave reviews, with one diner saying: ‘I don’t know why this restaurant doesn’t have a Michelin star.’

For a taste of local flavour, Le Badamier offers Mauritian dishes with a contemporary twist, including lamb curries, kathi rolls, papaya salads and dhals.

The website crows: ‘Balancing an exquisite sense of luxury with a relaxed, easy atmosphere is a speciality at this Mauritian Grande Dame hotel.

‘Guests can enjoy evening entertainment in an informal atmosphere, whilst experiencing all they would expect from an ultra-luxe resort such as this.

‘The exclusive feel is in no small part augmented by the setting; private beaches are a rarity in Mauritius but the peninsula gifts One&Only Le Saint Géran 1.5 kilometres of untouched white sand beach.’

It was widely believed the pair had jetted off soon after their drama-filled wedding on December 27. The Daily Mail understands the trip was delayed because of Adam’s prior commitment to take part in Swimming With The Stars in Romania.

Adam and Holly’s romantic getaway will come as a sigh of relief after their wedding day was marred by the swimmer’s fall out with his mother and brother.

With sister Bethany the only family member to attend the star-studded wedding, Gordon was accused of making a dig at Adam’s absent parents during his father-of-the-bride speech at the plush Kin House.

Guests said the famous chef commented on how beautiful Holly looked and told Adam he was a ‘lucky man’, adding: ‘Look at Tana and that’s what you have to look forward to.’

Holly’s father Gordon got emotional as he gave his daughter away at the wedding… but his speech afterwards raised some eyebrows against the backdrop of the Peaty family row

Adam’s mum Caroline and dad Mark didn’t attend their son’s wedding along with the majority of his family after a bust up that began when Caroline wasn’t invited to Holly’s hen party

While the wedding was going on in Somerset, Adam’s parents were 130 miles away at their home in Staffordshire which his mother Caroline said had left her heartbroken

It was claimed that Gordon then told daughter Holly: ‘Shame you don’t have the same.’

It was also reported that Adam failed to mention his parents and wider family in his speech, instead praising his swim coach Mel Marshall for being his ‘everything’, and for ‘grounding and inspiring’ him.

In an emotional moment he also reportedly said that he saw Mel ‘like a mum’ due to her support.

Sitting at home more than 130 miles away in Staffordshire, Adam’s broken-hearted mother Caroline was said to be ‘beside herself’ with grief.

Speaking from the council house where Adam grew up, the 59-year-old told The Mail on Sunday: ‘I’m not going to be hurt like this again.’

She went on to add that she felt as if Holly and Adam ‘have cut my heart out’ and was reportedly ‘outraged’ by Gordon Ramsey’s explosive speech.

The newspaper also revealed that moments before he walked into the abbey clutching the hand of his five-year-old son George, Adam was sent a devastating text message by his aunt Louise.

In it, she wrote: ‘I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both. Shame.

‘Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams.’

Meanwhile, Adam’s great-aunt Janet, 73, said: ‘I just feel so sorry for Caroline.

‘I can’t believe he’s done this to his mother who’s done so much for him from an early age. To be treated like this is not kind.’

The roots of the conflict can be traced back to September 2024, when Adam and Holly snubbed wider members of the Peaty family by not inviting them to their engagement party.

Caroline, who spent years ferrying her son to early-morning training sessions, was also not invited to Holly’s glamorous Cotswolds hen do at Soho Farmhouse, attended by the bride’s mother Tana and friends including Victoria Beckham.

The newlyweds have previously taken to social media to document sun-kissed holidays abroad

The resort where they are staying this time has private villas on the palm tree dotted estate which have reportedly sold for as much as $13.6million

The resort offers three swimming pools tennis, paddleboard, kayaking a Guerlain spa, which houses 12 marble-floored treatment rooms and a tranquil relaxation pool. It also organises private cruises, fishing trips, diving excursions, mangrove kayak tours and guided hikes, as well as food tours and cooking classes

Despite being shunned, Caroline had threatened to turn up at the wedding anyway, before deciding it would be ‘too upsetting’.

Had she done so, she would have faced five security guards positioned at the abbey doors.

Le Saint Géran has close family ties to the Ramsays: Gordon and Tana jet off to the African island to stay at the resort each January.

Speaking previously about their annual trips, Tana, Gordon’s wife of 29 years, said: ‘It’s a boyfriend/girlfriend holiday and it’s really important for us.’
