It’s all about the money in writer-director Jérôme Pierrat’s fiction feature directorial debut Moolah (La Moula), in which he also stars. The crime drama, also featuring Kader Benchoudar, Jean Ruimi, Jean-Michel Correia, Thierry Coignard, Patrice Kouyoumdjian, Jean-Mathieu Frattaci, Fethi Makdoudi, Michel Ucciani and Jacques Sordi, will world premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 9 in the Horizons section of the 83rd edition of the Venice International Film Festival. And it takes us on an 82-minute cinematic trip into a world that we – or at least most of us – don’t know up close. After all, Pierrat has made a name for himself as a journalist…
