Determined to prove his bravery, he and Patrick Star (Bill Fagerbakke) accept The Flying Dutchman’s offer to set sail with his undead crew.

But the unsuspecting duo doesn’t know that the Dutchman is really using them to gain back his mortality and become the pirate everyone on land and sea fears the most. Can Mr. Krabs, Squidward Tentacles (Rodger Bumpass) and Gary the Snail (also Kenney) warn them in time to save them and stop the Dutchman’s evil plan?

Yes! There’s a reason SpongeBob SquarePants has been a bit of a hit with adults and children since it premiered in 1999. Over a quarter century later, the franchise is still going strong, and The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants is the most entertaining movie in the series. Hamill’s Dutchman is a worthy SpoingeBob villain, and the film gives the popular supporting character Mr. Krabs the spotlight he deserves.

Don’t believe me? Listen to the many critics who lavished praise on the movie. On Rotten Tomatoes, The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants has an 80 percent approval rating on the Tomatometer, suggesting widespread approval for the film.
