Good style is eternal.

While trends come and go, some style icons are truly timeless and forever inspiring. And with the debut of Ryan Murphy’s “Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette,” the late Calvin Klein publicist’s impeccable aesthetic feels more relevant than ever.

Surely, CBK’s mystique can at least be partially attributed to her elegant take on basics, from L.L.Bean’s Boat and Tote to her Levi’s bootcut jeans — but Bessette Kennedy is also revered for her classic makeup and hairstyles.

And while taking a trip down memory lane, we spotted several of her favorite beauty items that are still available to shop today.

Bessette Kennedy’s signature lipstick was Face Stockholm Veil Lipstick in Cranberry, a sheer yet impactful burnt red that’s neither too cool nor orange.

Her other go-to shade was a now-discontinued red from Bobbi Brown, but the brand’s Crushed Lip Color in Ruby is a close match. The brand describes it as a mid-tone ruby red, and it’s another universally flattering hue in a satin-matte finish.

Shoppers love the cushiony formula, calling it a “game changer.”

Bessette Kennedy was loyal to two hair products, using Kiehl’s Creme With Silk Groom for her perpetually glossy locks.

A popular product for adding shine, de-frizzing and conditioning, it’s lightweight enough not to weigh hair down.

While this classic deep conditioner has other famous blond fans like Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet and Georgia May Jagger, it was originally created for a legendary brunette: Audrey Hepburn.

Elasticizer was another favorite that CBK relied on to keep her famously flaxen locks healthy.

Last, but hardly least, Bessette Kennedy was known for wearing a tortoise headband to hold her hair back.

While the icon favored a particular tortoiseshell version by French hair accessory brand Charles J. Wahba, the style above is nearly identical.
