Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo’s marriage crumbled in part reportedly because of the singer’s major life changes, including his booming career and dramatic weight loss.

“He’s very focused on his future, his health and being around for a long time,” a source told People on Wednesday, noting Jelly Roll — who lost nearly 300 pounds — has “changed a lot.”

In regards to the former couple’s marriage, the insider explained “there wasn’t a moment where everything fell apart.”

“They still love each other but were no longer on the same page about certain things, including what they wanted their future to look like,” the source shared.

The insider added that “people saw the public side” of Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo’s relationship, but they were dealing with a lot “privately.”

In addition, the source said the exes — who dealt with a cheating scandal in 2018 — “had a complicated dynamic” since the beginning of their romance.

Jelly Roll, 41, was dealing with money problems and Bunnie, 46, was a sex worker when they met.

“When they first got together, they were both in a very different place in their lives,” the source explained. “There was a lot of chaos, ups and downs, and they built a life together through all of that.”

The pair called it quits on May 9, according to Jelly Roll’s divorce filing one week later that Page Six obtained.

The “Wild Ones” singer cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their breakup, which was reportedly due to Jelly Roll’s religious beliefs clashing with Bunnie’s racy past.

They were married for nearly a decade and had no children together, though Bunnie served as a stepmother to Jelly Roll’s two children, daughter Bailee Ann, 18, and son Noah Buddy, 9, from previous relationships.

After filing for divorce, Jelly Roll shared a “weight loss update” on Instagram, posting a video of himself trying protein powder on Tuesday.

The Grammy Award winner previously weighed 540 pounds before embarking on his weight loss journey, which landed him on the cover of Men’s Health at 265 pounds earlier this year.

Bunnie showed support for Jelly Roll’s weight loss three months before their split.

“We’re watching a grown man live his life to the fullest for the first time,” she told People in February.

“He doesn’t have that extra weight on him, and he is literally just the happiest little bumblebee that is just flying through the universe right now, and he’s doing everything that he hasn’t gotten to do, and he’s kicking ass,” the “Dumb Blonde Podcast” host continued.

Bunnie also said she was looking forward to seeing what Jelly Roll would do next with “his newfound freedom.”
