Salman Khan‘s upcoming film Sikandar has been generating massive buzz. As reported by entertainment news portal Pinkvilla, Salman Khan‘s Sikandar has already pocketed around Rs 165 crore with its non-theatrical rights. The movie is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and he has managed to get a great deal for Sikandar. Source have informed the portal that the digital, satellite and music rights for the film have been sold at whopping Rs 165 crore.
As per the report, the movie has already covered around 80% of its budget with its non-theatrical rights sale. Reportedly, the streaming rights have been sold to OTT giant Netflix for a base price of Rs 85 crore. The satellite rights have been acquired by Zee for Rs 50 crore while music rights are with Zee Music Company acquired at a price of Rs 30 crore. It is expected the Sikandar’s non-theatrical revenue will touch the mark of Rs 165 crore but it depends on the theatrical business. The film seems to have recovered the major chunk of its production cost. However, it has also been noted that the production cost does not include Salman Khan’s fees.
Looks like Sikandar is all set to be a blockbuster hit at the box office. Salman Khan’s fans are buzzing with excitement for the film’s release, and there’s an advantage since the movie is dropping around Eid. Everyone’s is confident that the film will work wonders at the box office.
