Kevin said: ‘A lot of people have reached out and asked about how we got the diagnosis. So thank you, first of all, to everybody that has reached out. All the messages and DMs and comments and everything. It’s been nothing but love and positivity, so thank  you for that.’

Ali went on to explain that ‘Kevin had no symptoms’ and continues to not have any. According to the clip, the former television presenter feels ‘so healthy’ and ‘in the best shape’ of his life.

She pair then explained that Kevin has ‘no lumps and bumps in his throat, nor in his thyroid.

Kevin also recalled the moment two cancerous spots were detected on his thyroid last year.

‘A little over a year ago we had the opportunity to go to Chicago and do Pronuvo to do full-body scans. We’re very fortunate to go do those and we both, for the most part got clean bills of health back but they did detect [two spots] on my thyroid.

‘My primary care doctor was like “Okay, that’s something. We’ll take another look at it in a year and see what’s going on,” and so we did.’

The lovebirds claimed the body-scan ‘saved’ Kevin’s life, noting he’d be ‘walking around with [cancer]’ had he not done it.

He went on to explain that the malignant sports were biopsied, and shared it had shockingly ‘doubled in size’ over the year. Ultimately, the biopsy confirmed their worst fears — it was ‘cancerous.’

‘Early detection is the message we want to spread now,’ Kevin said, urging fans to get body-scans and take precaution. ‘Just be vigilant about your health.’

‘I feel like this is such a blessing in a way because it has given us such a new outlook on life. It make sus more appreciative for every single day and we can handle this, to take care of it.

‘Had an incredible visit with Kevin’s surgeon this morning. She is so so so impressive and we feel very very lucky that ©kevinmanno will be under her care,’ she penned.

‘People travel from all over to have her do their thyroid surgeries. Very grateful in this moment to live in Nashville, which is such a huge healthcare city. We found out they might push his surgery up and do it this Monday, but we’re not 100% sure. Lots to figure out!’

When first revealing his diagnosis to the public on Sunday, the pair insisted that the illness ‘very treatable’ and maintained a positive attitude, vowing to ‘not stress.’

The said that while the prognosis ‘looked good’ it will be up to the surgeon whether he will have half of his thyroid or his entire thyroid operated on.
