Brenda Fricker, the actress best known for playing the iconic Pigeon Lady in “Home Alone 2,” died on Thursday.

She was 81.

The Oscar winner’s agent confirmed the news to Page Six on Friday, saying, “It is with much sadness that I share the news that beloved actress Brenda Fricker passed away peacefully last night in Dublin, after a period of ill health, at the age of 81.”

The statement continued, “We will never see her like again, and the world is lesser for the lack of her. I was honored to know, love and work with her.

“She will always have a place in my heart and in the heart of so many film and TV fans the world over.”

Before pursuing acting, Fricker, who was born in Dublin in February 1945, worked as the Irish Times’ art editor’s assistant.

Her first role was in “Of Human Bondage” in 1964.

She acted on two soap operas and in multiple theater companies before becoming a household name as Megan Roach in “Casualty,” a character she played for four years — before repeatedly reprising the role.

Fricker’s claim to fame was “My Left Foot” in 1989, the movie that earned her an Oscar for best supporting actress.

She was nominated for a Golden Globe as well for playing Bridget Fagan Brown.

In 1992, she was cast as the Central Park Pigeon Lady in “Home Alone 2” and had a much-beloved scene with the film’s star, Macaulay Culkin.
