Makeup-free and dressed in pyjama bottoms and a low-cut tank top is hardly how most of us would like to be photographed in the street by the paparazzi.

But the ‘mystery woman’ pictured with controversial U.S. YouTuber David Dobrik in Sydney earlier this week somehow managed to look like a million bucks despite being dressed for a hungover Macca’s run.

But who was the stunning blonde rubbing shoulders with Dobrik, the headline magnet known for his polarising prank videos?

Her name is Emma Pillemer, but you probably know her as ‘Emma Pills’. Originally from Sydney’s eastern suburbs, the 23-year-old socialite is one of the Aussie ‘It’ girls living it up in Los Angeles.

Best known for the eye-catching jewellery she designs for her eponymous brand, and her starring role on reality TV show Made in Bondi, the vivacious party girl is fast making a name for herself in business and social circles on both sides of the Pacific.

The daughter of a high-profile fund manager who founded one of Sydney’s most powerful investment firms along with former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull, Emma could’ve been forgiven for embracing the easy lifestyle of a trust-fund baby.

But instead, she launched her own brand just a year after finishing high school and quickly earned her first million, while also making a name for herself as the socialite queen bee of Gen Z.

Such status does not come without a price, however, and the petite blonde has recently been at the centre of unkind rumours she’s had breast enlargement.

However, our sources have it on impeccable authority her assets are 100 per cent natural and she is just ‘genetically gifted’.

And while she keeps her private life mainly under wraps, she has provided glimpses into her Hollywood connections, most notably while partying with Dobrik in 2023 in a racy stripper costume complete with a temporary ‘daddy’s little monster’ tattoo.

On Dobrik’s recent trip Down Under, she displayed her famously ample cleavage in a low-cut grey tank top while showing him the sights.

They appeared delighted to be in each other’s company, sharing jokes as they hit a local convenience store where he picked up a Celsius energy drink.

The pair have been friends for at least two years. Back in 2023, fans speculated they were an item after taking a trip to LA together.

But their relationship is strictly platonic, and insiders have pointed out the two were friends due to Emma’s connection to Dobrik’s executive assistant Natalie Noel.

And while her love life remains a closely guarded secret, it is clear that Emma has business in her blood.

Her father Russel Pillemer co-founded diversified funds management group Pengana in 2003, and with wife Carole raised their four children, including Emma, in New York City before making the move to Australia.

Once in Sydney, Emma was enrolled at the prestigious Moriah College, a $45,000-per-year Jewish primary and secondary school located in ritzy Queens Park, her attendance ensuring impeccable society connections.

But despite Emma’s privileged upbringing, the bold young designer has blazed her own business trail – turning down the corporate lifestyle her father is known for in favour of the glitz and glamour of the world of fashion.

At the same time Emma has also dipped her toes into the world of showbusiness, appearing on the Bondi spin-off of Made in Chelsea last year.

The Channel Seven series follows the lives and loves of young socialites living near one of the world’s most famous beaches and throughout Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Emma stood out by being the only cast member genuinely raised in Bondi, while other stars grew up in nearby Paddington, the Northern Beaches and even Perth.
