Gwyneth Paltrow’s “poor son” Moses was allegedly mortified having to watch her “Marty Supreme” sex scenes with Timothée Chalamet.
“Oh my God! My poor son,” Paltrow, 53, told Demi Moore, who led the Q&A segment following a screening of the film at the San Vicente Bungalows in Santa Monica, Calif., on Friday, per People.
“Can you imagine when he came to the premiere in LA? He wanted to die,” she added of her 19-year-old son.
Paltrow attended the film’s Los Angeles premiere with her son, whom she shares with her ex Chris Martin, in December. The following week, she and Moses were joined by her daughter, Apple, 21, for the New York City premiere.
Directed by Josh Safdie, the film follows Marty Mauser (played by Chalamet), a shoe salesman who becomes consumed with a plot to become the world’s best ping pong player in 1950s New York City.
Paltrow plays a table tennis WAG, whom she previously described as “this woman who is married to someone who is in the Ping-Pong mafia” in an interview with Vanity Fair last March.
She also teased that she and Chalamet, 30, “have a lot of sex in this movie … there’s a lot — a lot.”
In her words, Paltrow and Chalamet’s characters meet and strike up a mutually beneficial romance in the movie.
“She’s had a pretty tough life, and I think he breathes life back into her, but it’s kind of transactional for them both,” Paltrow shared.
The “Avengers” star also couldn’t help but gush over Chalamet in her interview, and even labeled him as a “thinking man’s sex symbol.”
“He’s just a very polite, properly raised, I was going to say kid … he’s a man who takes his work really seriously and is a fun partner,” she said.
They also used an intimacy coordinator for those steamy scenes, which Paltrow explained was a new concept for her.
“There’s now something called an intimacy coordinator, which I did not know existed,” she said, adding that when the coordinator asked if she was OK with a certain move, she replied, “Girl, I’m from the era where you get naked, you get in bed, the camera’s on.”
In addition to Chalamet and Paltrow, the film also stars Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara and Fran Drescher.
“Marty Supreme” is now playing in theaters.
