Gigi Hadid feels “really lucky” to have Bradley Cooper in her corner.
The model issued a rare update on her “very romantic and happy” bond with the actor in her Vogue cover story published Tuesday.
“Getting to the point where knowing what you want and deserve in a relationship is essential,” the “Next in Fashion” co-host, 29, explained.
“And then to find someone that is in a place in their life where they know what they want and deserve,” she continued. “And you both do work separately to come together and be the best partner that you can be.”
Hadid gushed about how much she “respect[s]” her partner, 50, “as a creative.”
She added, “He gives so much to me: encouragement and, just, belief. For those people you admire to encourage you, it can create so much belief in yourself. Like, what’s the worst thing if I auditioned for this?”
Hadid credited Cooper with inspiring her to “jump and take the leap” in life.
She also told the outlet that he has “opened [her] up to going to the theater more,” which has been “so nice to bring back into [her] life.”
She and the Grammy winner have remained tight-lipped about their connection since sparking romance rumors with a dinner date in late 2023.
They met at a backyard birthday party for a child of a mutual friend, according to the magazine.
Hadid first spoke about Cooper in October 2024 while explaining his absence at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show to “Entertainment Tonight.”
“He’s watching from home tonight. He is on dad duty but so supportive,” she told the outlet, referencing his 7-year-old daughter, Lea, with model Irina Shayk.
Shayk, 39, gave birth to Lea while dating Cooper from 2015 to 2019.
As for Hadid, she is the mother of 4-year-old daughter Khai with ex Zayn Malik — and told Vogue that they “do [their] custody schedules months in advance” to accommodate their busy work lives.
“That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t change here and there, but we help each other out and have each other’s backs,” she said of her “camaraderie” with her ex.
She and the former One Direction member broke up in 2021 after more than two years of dating.
Despite their split making headlines at the time for Malik’s alleged altercation with Gigi’s mom, Yolanda Hadid, they choose to focus on “raising [their] daughter together, with so much respect for each other, not just as co-parents, but what [they’ve] been through together.”
Gigi shared a similar sentiment about her relationship with Cooper, acknowledging that she “can’t always correct everything” about news reporting “that’s kind of right and kind of wrong.”
