Alongside a carousel of images showing her happier moments in recent months, the 36-year-old was frank in her caption.
‘I wasn’t going to post a 2025 recap because it was the hardest year of my life… I just wanted to move on to the new one,’ she said.
By contrast, her ex-husband Lee appeared to be embracing the new year with ease.

‘Thirsty work. Have managed to incorporate wine into our morning walks,’ he quipped alongside the cheerful snaps as he and a friend toured a scenic winery.
The stark contrast between their posts offered a telling glimpse into how differently the former couple experienced the year following their separation.
While Georgia reflected on heartbreak and resilience, Lee appeared relaxed and carefree as he welcomed a fresh chapter.

‘Looking back at photos, I remembered just how many truly wonderful, happy times I had too,’ Georgia wrote.
‘From three overseas trips to covering the biggest news story in recent history, launching a new podcast and marrying one of my best friends, actually at the end of the day 2025 could go down as one of the very best. The duality of life, hey?!’
Lee, 43, and Georgia, who first met on the 2016 season of The Bachelorette, announced their separation with identical posts to Instagram in February.

‘After nine wonderful years together, including four as husband and wife, [we] have made the incredibly difficult decision to lovingly part ways,’ they wrote.
