George Clooney is still insisting he and wife Amal Clooney have “never” argued in more than a decade of marriage.
Three years after making the wild claim on “CBS Mornings,” the actor doubled down in a Los Angeles Time interview.
When the journalist said George’s statement was “hard to believe” after 11 years as husband and wife, the Oscar winner argued his case.
“I was 52,” the “Ocean’s Eleven” star explained. “There’s a reason why insurance rates when you’re 16 to 25 are off the charts. It’s aggression.
“I had no intention of getting married again,” he continued, referencing his first marriage to Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993, “but I fell madly in love with the person who changed that.”
George, who is the father of 8-year-old twins Ella and Alexander, noted that he also “didn’t want to have kids” but reconsidered when he met Amal.
“I’m much more secure, and I am also less in the mood to win arguments,” he told the outlet. “When you’re young, you’re trying to win everything.”
The Golden Globe winner said he is “not conceding” and it’s “true” that he and Amal don’t fight.
“Nice try,” Clooney told the reporter. “You’re going to get me in trouble with my wife.”
The first time George made headlines for the claim in 2022, Amal said their nonexistent arguing was “maddening” for her loved ones.
“I have a cousin, actually, every time we see him he’s like, his first question is, ‘So have you had an argument yet?’ before he says ‘hello,’” the human rights attorney said at the time.
Travis Kelce confronted George over the confession on a “New Heights” podcast episode last month.
George denied “lying” — and then turned the question back to the Kansas City Chiefs player, who is engaged to Taylor Swift.
“It’s only been two and a half years, and you’re right,” the athlete, 36, quipped. “I’ve never got in an argument. Never once.”
Kylie Kelce, in turn, called out her brother-in-law in a subsequent episode over what she believed to be was a “sarcastic … joke,” but Travis doubled down.
“Me and Tay, we definitely don’t fight,” he told listeners.
Travis and the pop star, 36, have been together since the summer of 2023.
George, for his part, started dating Amal in 2013 and popped the question the following year, walking down the aisle in a 2014 Italy wedding.
