Gal Gadot described losing two of her senses due to a blood clot in her brain while eight months pregnant.
“I had massive headaches that completely put me down,” the “Snow White” star recalled on Tuesday’s episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show.”
“I was in bed and I couldn’t hear or see anything,” she added before showing how she would lay back in bed all day with a hot bottle on her head.
The Israeli actress said her symptoms became “worse and worse” but different doctors and neurologists just dismissed them as a “nasty migraine.”
“Always advocate for your health,” the “Wonder Woman” star told the audience. “Always. Listen to yourself, advocate for your heart. If anything, you just over-checked yourself, right? That’s OK.”
Gadot’s comments were met with a round of applause before she shared how one day she finally “rushed” to a hospital, where she found out she had a “major brain clot.”
“If I had gone through a spontaneous delivery, I wouldn’t have been here,” she added before noting she had three clots.
“It was the first time that I felt what it meant to be scared to death. And again, had I known better, they could have just put me on blood thinners and done.”
The actress said Tuesday that the delivery happened “within two hours” of her receiving her blood clot diagnosis.
In March 2024, Gadot announced via Instagram that she had given birth to her fourth baby, a girl named Ori.
“My sweet girl, welcome. The pregnancy was not easy and we made it through,” she captioned a picture of her holding her daughter.
Although Gadot did not reveal what had happened at the time, she later talked about the “terrifying truth” in a December 2024 Instagram Story.
“In February, during my eighth month of pregnancy, I was diagnosed with a massive blood clot in my brain,” she wrote in part at the time.
“Today, I am fully healed and filled with gratitude for the life I’ve been given back.”
Aside from Ori, Gal also shares Alma, 13, Maya, 7, and Daniella, 3 with husband Jaron Varsona.
Gadot has recently been at the center of feud rumors with her “Snow White” co-star Rachel Zegler, with a source telling People that the alleged rift is due in part to the fact that she is a “mom of four.”
The insider told the outlet the two have “nothing in common,” while another added that their “huge age gap and very different political views” are also contributing to the estrangement.
A source said, “They are not friends. … They did a job together and that’s it.”
