Fox News Media is building out its portfolio of podcasts with a new panel roundtable conversation series. The pitch? The show will feature an all-female cast, with rotating guest hosts from across the company’s footprint.
The new show is called The Girls, and the first episode will feature Fox & Friends Weekend host Rachel Campos-Duffy, anchor Harris Faulkner, Gutfeld! panelist Kat Timpf. It will also include former ESPN NFL Sunday Countdown host Samantha Ponder, who left the sports media giant in 2024.
And also featured will be Melissa DeRosa, previously a top aide to former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. Fox News says that DeRosa has joined the channel as a contributor.
Future episodes of The Girls may include those names, as well as others. The first episode debuts Oct. 1 with future episodes dropping every Thursday on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Fox News Digital.
Fox News has been perhaps the most aggressive cable news channel when it comes to developing a podcast slate, with shows hosted by veteran TV talent, digital creators, and even acquired shows like Ruthless. the company’s slate includes Hang Out with Sean Hannity, Ruthless, Will Cain Country, Planet Tyrus and The Riley Gaines Show, with episodes living on the digital platforms where consumers watch and listen to podcasts, as well as Fox’s own platforms where they can sit alongside TV programming.
Fox News has also leaned into the talents of its female hosts on its linear channel, where Outnumbered still holds down the noon to 1 p.m. ET timeslot, with four female co-hosts joined by “one lucky guy.”
