Once deemed “Hollywood’s Last Bad Boy,” Shia LaBeouf never had a problem locking down the ladies. In fact, the actor previously called himself a “serial monogamist.”
But trouble seems to follow the 39-year-old when it comes to both love and the law, because he was most recently arrested and charged with two counts of simple battery in New Orleans nearly one year after sources tell us he and Mia Goth once again quietly split.
Unfortunately, the incident in the Big Easy wouldn’t be the first time the actor was accused of abuse, as some of his exes have also alleged that the star can become unhinged, including his exes FKA Twigs and Goth.
Check out LaBeouf’s tumultuous dating history below.
Amber Tamblyn
Rumors swirled of a romance between the “127 Hours” star and LaBeouf in 2005 when they arrived together at the LA premiere of her film “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” though neither party confirmed the relationship.
Megan Fox
These co-stars entered into an on-set romance while filming “Transformers” in 2007, with Fox confirming the affair during a 2018 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.”
“I mean, I would confirm that it was romantic,” said Fox. “I love him. I have never been really quiet about that. I love him.”
Isabel Lucas
LaBeouf admitted to “philandering around” with co-star Isabel Lucas while working on the sequel “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.” Lucas was in a relationship with actor Adrian Grenier at the time.
“It was sort of disastrous,” LaBeouf said. “Neither one of us, I think, was in love. Just sort of experimenting or whatever.”
Carey Mulligan
The “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” co-stars dated for about a year, beginning in 2009. Mulligan and the former Disney star split in October 2010.
Karolyn Pho
The stylist-turned-designer dated the actor from 2010 to 2012.
She has also accused the troubled star of abuse, claiming he drunkenly pinned her to a bed and head-butted her, causing her to bleed. She’s testified on Twigs’ behalf in the singer’s lawsuit against their shared ex.
Kate Mara
Mara was spotted at Disneyland with the “Holes” actor in 2014, stirring romance rumors.
Dakota Johnson
While “The Peanut Butter Falcon” co-stars never confirmed a relationship, rumors began circulating during the film’s press junket when Dakota Johnson and LaBeouf couldn’t help but constantly gush about one another.
LaBeouf stated that he was “honored to be in scenes” with Johnson during their time filming the 2019 flick. He also named her as his best on-screen kiss.
During filming, he was arrested for disorderly conduct, public intoxication and obstruction of justice, leaning on both Johnson and co-star Zack Gottsagen for support. Johnson later revealed that she was “very protective” of the actor at the time. She also stated that he “might be the greatest actor of [her] generation.”
Mia Goth
The pair met in 2012 while on the set of “Nymphomaniac: Vol. II.” LaBeouf and Goth married in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2016, streaming their nuptials on TMZ.
They were filmed having an argument in Germany in 2015, when he said on-camera, “I don’t want to touch a woman. I don’t want to hit a woman, but I’m being pushed,” and, “If I’d have stayed there, I would have killed her.”
The couple split in 2018, with a rep telling Page Six at the time, “Shia and Mia have filed for divorce. The separation is amicable, and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private.”
However, the pair were spotted wearing wedding rings in March 2020 while riding bikes together in Los Angeles. Neither has confirmed a reconciliation.
In February 2026, however, an insider told Page Six that LaBeouf and Goth quietly split one year prior.
Another source told us that LaBeouf moved to New Orleans following his 2025 breakup with Goth to be closer to family.
FKA Twigs
LaBeouf began dating the singer shortly after his 2018 separation from Goth. The pair met on the set of his film “Honey Boy,” but didn’t make things official until after filming wrapped.
They dated for a little less than a year, and Twigs later claimed the actor was sexually, mentally and physically abusive during their time together. Accusations included knowingly giving her a sexually transmitted disease and grabbing her so hard that she would bruise.
LaBeouf responded to the shocking accusations in an email to the New York Times.
“I’m not in any position to tell anyone how my behavior made them feel,” he wrote. “I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say.”
The former couple later reached a private settlement in 2025.
Margaret Qualley
Qualley and LaBeouf reportedly met in the fall of 2020 while working on a music video for Qualley’s sister’s song “Love Me Like You Hate Me,” but the couple wouldn’t be spotted together for several months.
In December 2020, the pair was spotted locking lips at LAX, and soon after, they were spotted going on runs and hikes together.
The couple called it quits in January 2021, just weeks after his ex, FKA Twigs, accused the actor of being sexually, mentally and physically abusive during their relationship.
“They’re just in different places in their lives,” a source told People at the time, adding that she was focusing on her career.
