Finneas just released a new collaboration with country superstar Kacey Musgraves, with the duo performing an acoustic duet of Musgraves’ “Giver / Taker” for a special EP on Apple Music.

The streaming platform dropped Finneas’s Apple Music Nashville Sessions EP on Monday, featuring live performances of “Starfucker” and “Same Old Story” from his 2024 album For Cryin’ Out Loud, as well as the duet with Musgraves. Apple Music also shared a video of the two artists performing the song — which originally appeared on Musgraves’ sixth album Deeper Well — available in full below.

The track starts with Musgraves on the first verse, Finneas taking the second verse, and the two harmonizing on the chorus. Musgraves’ vocals are beautiful, as usual, while the song also showcases Finneas’s range as he switches between higher harmonies on the chorus and a deeper delivery on his solo verse. Apple Music has been holding its Nashville Sessions series since 2022, previously bringing on artists including Koe Wetzel, Anne Wilson, Turnpike Troubadours and Zach Top to name a few.

As The Hollywood Reporter first reported last week, Finneas and his sister Billie Eilish recently changed up their management, and they’re now represented by veteran music exec Jason Owen’s Sandbox Entertainment, which also manages Musgraves. Finneas is readying the European leg for his For Cryin’ Out Loud tour, beginning in Ireland next week. Tickets are available for purchase on his website.

Outside of his music, Finneas acts as well, most recently featured as one of Stephanie Hsu’s love interests in the Peacock comedy Laid.

“I thought he was just a full musician, and they were like, ‘he’s great,’” Laid’s co-showrunner co-Nahnatchka Khan said of casting Finneas on the show. “So he read it, and he was into it, and we were like, ‘Really?’ Did he put down his Grammys to read it? Your hands must be full with Grammys.’ But yeah he wanted to do it. He was great, he was so fun to work with.”
