Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor’s Abir Gulaal teaser is out! The Pakistani superstar is back in a Hindi film after almost 10 years. Fans are clearly happy and excited to see Khan in a Bollywood film after so long. Directed by Aarti S Bagdi, the makers also revealed the release date of the romantic drama. As soon as the teaser was out, fans couldn’t keep calm.
In the Abir Gulaal teaser, Fawad Khan sings the song ‘Kuch Na Kaho’ inside the car, with Vaani Kapoor’s character sitting in the front passenger seat. When he is done singing, Vaani asks him if he is flirting with her. To this, Khan replies by asking if he wants her to flirt with him. The promo ends with a romantic song that is sung by Arijit Singh.
In the comments, fans have shared their reaction, many expressing their happiness over Fawad’s return to Hindi movies. One comment reads, “Earth is healing Fawad is back in India ??”. Another person commented, “The world is healing. The movie is produced by Vivek Aggarwal, Avantika Hari and Rakesh Sippy. It will hit theatres on May 9, 2025. The shooting started in September, with most parts being shot in London.
Meanwhile, Fawad Khan made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with the movie Khoobsurat, which also starred Sonam Kapoor. In 2016, he appeared in two Hindi movies – Kapoor & Sons and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. In Kapoor & Sons, Fawad featured alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. In ADHM, Khan starred with Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma. The Karan Johar-directed romantic drama was his last film in Bollywood.
