The reality TV star, 44, arrived at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills donning a dramatic wedding-gown inspired Balenciaga dress.
The sleeveless ball gown bore an uncanny resemblance to the Vera Wang dress the star wore during her short-lived marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries in 2011.
The gown boasted a classic princess silhouette, with a fitted bodice that flared dramatically into a full, voluminous skirt.
Kim let her dress do all the talking, opting to pull her raven tresses into a tight, slicked-back updo, and wearing no jewelry. Her deep tan provided a striking contrast to the gown.
However, fans mercilessly poked fun of the gown’s wrinkled material as well as her strong tan, with one saying the dress looked like ‘toilet paper’ and ‘wrinkled sheets’ and another calling it ‘a used napkin.’
