An influencer who underwent the controversial ‘Barbie Waist’ surgery in Bali has unveiled the results of the procedure, attracting health concerns from fans.

Tilds Search, real name Matilda Baxter, stunned followers on Saturday when she uploaded a video of herself wearing lingerie as she showed off her new figure.

The online content creator, 23, stripped down to black lacy underwear as she filmed herself flaunting her very cinched-in waistline without her recovery corset on.

‘It looks insane. Not edited. Waist where?’ she said.

Followers flocked to the comments of her video to express their concern over Tilds’ slimmed-down frame.

‘All I am seeing is the bones,’ one person wrote, while another added: ‘Omg I remember when I looked like this. I was so sick.’

‘Please eat more your ribs are freaking me out,’ said a third.

‘I’m not here to negatively judge but more protein and carbohydrates is needed. Stay safe and look after your health people,’ someone else commented.

Another critic lashed out at Tilds and accused her of promoting unrealistic body standards to young women.

‘This is disgraceful, to portray an image and encourage other young girls or women to think it’s normal to look like this,’ they said.

However, many fans came to the defence of Tilds, praising her new look and saying people shouldn’t judge her for choices she makes about her own body.

‘Comments are NOT it. This woman is educated and makes her own informed choices. She is transparent AF! Don’t like it? Roll on!’ wrote one.

‘You look so beautiful you should be top model, Victoria’s Secret!’ another commented.

‘Tilds, “Incomparably Magnificent” is never going to be an overused or misunderstood descriptor when it comes to you,’ said a third.

How do you think social media influencers impact young people’s body image and health choices?

‘Girl you are starting to look unreal,’ someone else complimented.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Tilds for comment.

Tilds was among several influencers who were flown out to Bali late last month to receive and promote the controversial ‘Barbie Waist’ surgery in a sponsored campaign.

The controversial body-contouring procedure, which is not currently available in Australia, reshapes the lower floating ribs to create the appearance of a dramatically smaller waist without removing the bones.

It has become increasingly popular among influencers travelling to Bali, but has also attracted fierce criticism from medical professionals and social media users concerned about unrealistic beauty standards.

Earlier this month, Married At First Sight star Bec Zacharia told fans she had finally undergone the procedure after changing her mind multiple times.

The MAFS bride shared a video on Instagram where she documented the process after initially backing out.

First, Bec confessed that she had been misleading her fans into believing she had already had the work done, before vanishing from social media for several days.

The online content creator also shared before and after photos of her cinched-in waistline

‘I’ve been lying to you. I haven’t had surgery yet. I’ve been in Bali, it’s been almost three weeks,’ she said at the start of the video.

She then explained that she was heading into the hospital that same day.

‘It’s been not any fault of my own, but today is the day. I know I promised you guys transparency, so I’m gonna take you in with me,’ she said.

Prior to the surgery, Bec had pleaded for privacy despite spending a fortnight documenting every step of the procedure online.

Her online silence prompted concern from fans before she resurfaced with a statement asking for privacy.

‘For this time… I’m respectfully asking for privacy. Thank you all for your understanding, your patience and for supporting me,’ she said in a social media post.

The update came after Bec spent almost two weeks sharing every twist and turn of her decision to undergo the increasingly popular rib contouring procedure, including moments where she dramatically changed her mind before she said she was ultimately going ahead with the surgery.
