Season 4 of The Traitors introduced Donna Kelce as a contestant — but Taylor Swift’s relationship with her son Travis Kelce was all the castle could talk about.

The three-part premiere, which aired on Thursday, January 8, immediately showed Donna discussing how her sons — Jason Kelce and Travis — felt about her involvement in the show.
“They are so excited. They are huge fans. Jason is the one that got me involved. We just literally one weekend during playoffs binged it and it was great,” she said before elaborating in a confessional. “I am so excited. I never thought in a million years I would get the chance.”
She continued: “When you get to a certain part in your life and your kids are starting their own families, it is so important to reinvent yourself, do the things you always dreamt of and that is how I ended up in Scotland.”
The Traitors, which premiered in the U.S. in 2023, brings together reality TV stars and other notable personalities to compete in a mafia-style game for up to $250,000. Donna — and her fellow players — were asked whether they wanted to be a Faithful or a Traitor.
“I think I can be ruthless,” Donna argued. “I am pretty sure that when the time comes and murders need to be done, I am your person.”
Spoiler alert, Donna was ultimately chosen as the secret Traitor, who wasn’t unmasked to the other Traitors (Lisa Rinna, Candiace Dillard Bassett and Rob Rausch) until she had already been voted off. This came as a shock since most of the players admitted they didn’t want to question Donna out of fear for retribution from Swift’s fans.
Swift was welcomed into the Kelce family when she started dating Travis in 2024. The couple have since announced their engagement — and Swift’s fanbase has shown support for the entire Kelce clan as a result.

Dorinda Medley
As soon as she returned to the Scottish castle, Dorinda made it clear she wouldn’t sacrifice Donna.
“No one is going to murder her,” she said. “The Swifties will kill them.”
Once the tide turned, Dorinda remained concerned about questioning Donna, adding, “The Swiftie thing scares me.”
Rob Rausch
The Love Island USA contestant was obsessed with Donna as soon as he saw her. He initially commented on Donna keeping her cards close to her chest, saying, “That is how you produce athletes right there. I love her. I love that woman.”
Rob was even happier to find out that Donna was the secret Traitor. “I like her a lot. I am not joking at all,” he told the cameras. “Is she married? Probably.”
Johnny Weir
“When in doubt, find the gays. I am on the gay boat,” the figure skater explained about his approach during a challenge. “It is me, big daddy Colton [Underwood], Monét [X Change], Yam Yam [Arocho] and Taylor Swift’s soon-to-be mother-in-law.”
Ron Funches
After appearing on Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity? with Travis, Ron found a fan in Donna, who trusted him just because of his connection to her son. Ron, meanwhile, felt the same way about the Kelce matriarch.
Colton Underwood
The former Bachelor was just as worried about pointing fingers at Donna before her banishment, saying, “Everybody is scared to say her name. I am not scared of Michael [Rapaport] — but I am scared of the Swifties.”
