Erika Kirk (née Frantzve) slammed the conspiracy theories involving the burial location of her late husband, Charlie Kirk.

“Can I have one thing? Can my children have one thing? Everything [about Charlie’s death] was public,” Erika, 37, said during a Wednesday, December 10, appearance on Fox News’ Outnumbered. “We will be building the most beautiful memorial for my husband at Turning Point USA and it will be for the world to see and it will be spectacular.”

While Erika and the Turning Point USA team are working on getting the public memorial off the ground, she wants Charlie’s burial site to remain private for the sake of her family. (Charlie died in September at age 31 after being shot while making an appearance at a college campus in Utah.)

“Can I have one thing, can my babies have one thing where we hold it sacred, where my husband is laid to rest, where I don’t have to be worried about some secular revolutionary coming and destroying my husband’s grave while my daughter is sitting there praying,” she continued. “This is my husband. Yes, he was Charlie Kirk to the world, and I know so many many people loved my husband, and I am grateful for that, but this is my husband and I wanna be able to have one thing left that is sacred to our family.”

The late Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika Kirk, is addressing criticism over the way she has publicly grieved her husband’s untimely death. “…there is no linear blueprint for grief. One day you’re collapsed on the floor crying out the name Jesus in between labored breaths,” Erika, 36, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, October 11. “The next […]

Erika, who welcomed two children with Charlie before his death, shared that she feels a connection to the Book of Nehemiah. The biblical text tells the story of the prophet of the same name who is tasked with rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem.

“I do not have time to address the noise. My silence does not mean that I am complacent,” she said. “My silence does not mean that somehow Turning Point USA and all of the handpicked staff that loved my husband and my husband loved them is somehow in on it. We are busy building.”

Erika added that she and the Turning Point USA team have received information related to Charlie’s death that they have passed along to the “authorities.”

“No rock will be unturned. I want justice for my husband, for myself, for my family, more than anyone else out there,” she explained. “So for me, you wanna keep telling me to come down while we’re building. I don’t have time for that.”

Erika added that she doesn’t “care” if people call her “names” but to leave her loved ones out of it.

“Call me what you want. Go down that rabbit hole, whatever. But when you go after my family, my Turning Point USA family, my Charlie Kirk Show family, when you go after the people that I love and you’re making hundreds and thousands of dollars every single episode going after the people that I love because somehow they’re in on this. No,” she said, adding that she now experiences “righteous anger.”

During the Sunday, September 21, public memorial service for the late Charlie Kirk, his wife, Erika Kirk (née Frantzve) publicly forgave the man allegedly responsible for her husband’s death. “I forgive him because it is what Christ did,” Erika, 36, said during her husband’s service, held at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. “The […]

Erika explained she is not the only person mourning Charlie, as her Turning Point USA colleagues are also coping with the loss as several of them witnessed her husband’s death.

“Your words are very powerful and we are human. My team are not machines and they’re not robots. They are human,” she said. “We have more death threats on our team than I have ever seen. I have kidnapping threats. … and my poor team is exhausted and every time they bring this back up what are we supposed to do? Relive that trauma all over again? They watched my husband get murdered. I have no idea how I would’ve reacted if I was there that day and thank the good Lord that I did not have to see that happen but my team, they are rocked to the core.”

Erika ended her message by sharing she had no plans to back down and asked those pushing the conspiracy theories about Charlie’s death and burial to “stop.” She also held up Charlie’s posthumous book, Stop, in the Name of God, which was released on Tuesday, December 9.
