Erika Jayne may have “XXPEN$IVE” taste, but she still loves a good drugstore staple.
The singer and “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star tells Page Six Style she’s partial to practical stocking stuffers like Aquaphor Healing Ointment and Colgate Peroxyl Mouthwash.
“It sounds kind of weird to give somebody mouthwash, but I like it,” Jayne says. “If somebody gave it to me, not only would I be thrilled, but I would be using it as well.”
Her most giftable self-care essentials also include Prequel Universal Skin Solution Dermal Spray — a hypochlorous acid solution she says is “really good before and after working out” — and, for something that’s more of a splurge, Augustinus Bader Body Oil, Rich Cream, Ultimate Soothing Cream, the latter of which is especially formulated for sensitive skin.
“I do the [Soothing Cream] on top [of the Rich Cream], because I have eczema,” says the reality star, who also “swear[s] by” La Roche-Posay Lipikar Eczema Soothing Relief Cream.
She’s also discovered several new present ideas through her “RHOBH” co-stars this year, saying, “Kathy Hilton gives the best gifts, and Rachel Zoe is coming up right behind her.”
Zoe, the newest addition to the iconic cast, recently gave Jayne an “unreal” Nori Press steam iron, which she says would be a great gift for “anybody who travels a lot.”
But perhaps the most wild gift she’s ever received from a co-star? “A book of the 101 most kinky things to do in the bedroom that Diana Jenkins gave to me,” says Jayne.
“I do find myself referring to that.”
With the new year on the way, Jayne says her personal style — which she describes as an “S&M chic kind of vibe” — is a bit on the spicy side, too.
“Being a little bit more dangerous and a little bit more reckless with your glam and with your fashion is something I certainly welcome,” explains the star, saying the “clean girl era is out and the maximalist is back in.”
Despite her over-the-top closet, however, the star’s favorite gift to unwrap is decidedly minimalist.
“I would like to unwrap peace,” she quips. “If someone could give me the gift of peace … I would love that.”
