Not too many people can call upon some of Britain’s best known TV presenters for a booze fuelled karaoke night at a Grade II listed former courthouse.
But Emma Willis did just that while celebrating her milestone 50th birthday with friends and family in east London on Sunday evening.
The popular star was joined by devoted husband Matt and an array of fellow presenters, including Rylan Clark and Dermot O’Leary, for a late night celebration at Old Sessions House.
With Live Karaoke Band providing the entertainment, guests had the run of the venue, which can be hired out exclusively for the celebrations at cost of around £25,000.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday evening, she shared a handful of photos from the party – among them shots of Rylan, a former X Factor contestant, and music lover Dermot taking to the stage for a spot of karaoke.
Rylan went back to his X Factor days as he sung Spice Girls’ Wannabe before joining Giovanna Fletcher, sporting a wild wig, for a performance of Beyonce hit Single Ladies.

However, Dermot proved to be the surprise karaoke king by belting out the Bruce Springsteen classic Dancing In The Dark before launching into Kelly Clarkson track Since U Been Gone.
Emma’s Busted star husband Matt couldn’t resist the stage, performing Green Day’s Basket Case as his wife and her pals jumped around the dance floor.
But it was the birthday girl who closed out the night, singing another Spice Girls hit, Stop, with a group of girlfriends.
Close pal Rylan shared a look at the speeches, with Emma thanking her loved ones and cracking jokes from the top of the venue’s staircase.
Captioning her latest round of pictures, she wrote: ‘All my favourite people (minus a few) in one room… 50 years of memories looking back at me, singing along with me and dancing next to me.
‘I’m eternally grateful to know such wonderful, brilliant people and none more so than @mattjwillis you are my home, my heart, my North Star.
‘Thank you babe, not just for your exceptional party planning skills, but for loving me the way you do. A time was had…’
Among the first to reply on Tuesday evening, Dermot wrote: ‘The best time. Thank you.’
Giovanna added: ‘The best time celebrating YOU.’
Elsewhere, former Keith Lemon star Leigh Francis wrote: ‘Such a lovely evening.’
While radio and TV presenter Dave Berry added: ‘What a night! Happy birthday.’
Paying tribute to his wife on social media before Sunday evening’s celebration, Matt wrote: ’50 looks good on you bab. Love this woman more than I could ever put into words. Literally all I want to do is hang out with you.
‘You are my everything. Happy birthday @emmawillisofficial . Can’t wait to do the next 50 together’.

Alistair Martin who provided the instrumentation told his followers online: ‘I setup Live Karaoke Band back in 2008 and we’ve played some memorable gigs: Abbey Road Studios with Jonathan Hall, Henley Rewind Festival, Isle of Wight Festival, and too many corporate events and weddings to mention’.
‘But last night was one of those “pinch yourself” nights when we were invited to play for Emma Willis’s birthday party in London, and I reckon this one topped the lot.
‘Emma and Matt are a simply awesome couple with a beautiful family, and know how to throw a party with equally awesome friends who know how to sing. Thank you for inviting us, we had an absolute blast’.
He added: ‘Tom Allen is as charming in real life as he is on the screen (thank you for the fanboy moment!), and Dermot O’Leary was an absolute gent, smashing it with Since U Been Gone and Dancing In The Dark.
‘The energy Matt Willis brought to the stage performing Basket Case was electric, and the night was suitably brought to a close by Emma and her friends singing Stop by The Spice Girls’.
‘But the ‘pinch yourself’ moment…? Rylan absolutely killing it with Wannabe. I can cross that off my bucket list.’
