The Academy loves Emma Stone.

The actress, 37, broke an Oscars record held by Meryl Streep after the 2026 nominations came out Thursday.

Stone received a nomination for Best Actress for starring in Yorgos Lanthimos’ film “Bugonia.” She’s also nominated as a producer for the movie’s Best Picture nod.

Those two nominations mean Stone, at age 37, is now the youngest woman in Oscars history to reach seven total nominations.

Streep, 76, had held the record since she got her seventh Oscar nom at age 38 in 1988.

But Streep is still the most-nominated actor in Oscars history, with 21 nods total. She’s won three times; Best Supporting Actress in 1980 for “Kramer vs. Kramer,” Best Actress in 1983 for “Sophie’s Choice” and Best Actress in 2012 for “The Iron Lady.”

Stone’s previous Oscar nominations include Best Supporting Actress in 2015 for “Birdman” and Best Supporting Actress in 2019 for “The Favourite.” She got a producer nod when “Poor Things” was up for Best Picture in 2024.

Her two wins were for Best Actress in 2017 for “La La Land” and Best Actress in 2024 for “Poor Things.”

Stone reacted to her “Bugonia” nominations in a statement to The Post on Thursday.

“Thank you to the Academy for these nominations and to everyone who poured their hearts into ‘Bugonia,‘” she said. “None of this exists without our director, Yorgos. I am forever grateful for our creative partnership and friendship.”

“I share this recognition with the beyond brilliant Jesse Plemons and our remarkable cast, crew and producers,” Stone continued. “To be in the company of all of these incredible nominees is a true honor, and I’m deeply thankful.”

“Bugonia” was nominated in four categories: Best Actress, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Picture. Plemons, 37, was snubbed in the Best Supporting Actor category, despite getting in for the Actor Awards and the Golden Globe Awards this year.

The black comedy film is a remake of a 2003 South Korean movie. It follows two young men who kidnap a powerful CEO whom they suspect is secretly an alien who wants to destroy Earth.

Stone plays the CEO, starring alongside Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias and Alicia Silverstone.

The “Easy A” actress shaved her head for “Bugonia.”

“From the moment I read the script, I knew I’d have to shave my head, because there was just never going to be any other way,” Stone said at a Q&A for the film in New York City in Sept. 2025, calling the decision “one of the greatest experiences of my life.”

“And it’s just hair,” she noted. “I thought it would be longer by now, but it’s just hair!”

The 98th Academy Awards air Sunday, March 15, at 7 p.m. on ABC.
