Emily Seebohm has revealed she has recently spent thousands of dollars on court and lawyer fees, following her split from Ryan Gallagher.
The Olympic swimmer, 33, who shares two-year-old son Sampson with the Married At First Sight star, has not disclosed the reason for her court appearances.
However, she did say her life savings were being drained by the fees, sharing the news in a photo she uploaded to Instagram on Thursday.
Emily posted an image of herself smiling as she reached for the camera, with a caption reading: ‘My top five horror movies.’
She then went on to list five things that make her shudder.
‘Hearing running feet at 1:30am, spending $13k on one day in court, draining everything I’ve worked for in life on lawyer fees,’ she wrote.

Emily finished the list by adding ‘rain after you put the washing on’ and ‘standing on the right for photos’ as her fourth and fifth ‘top horror movies’.
Daily Mail has reached out to Emily for comment on the post.
It comes after Emily hard launched her new relationship with Brandon Caust in December.
‘Surprise,’ Emily captioned a post, which showed the new couple smiling beside each other in the photographs.
One image showed the couple dressed to the nines, with the swimmer wearing a glittering frock beside her suited-up beau at a charity gala.
Other pictures showed them at a Brisbane Bullets NBL game, out for dinner, and bonding with Emily’s son, Sampson.
Not much is known about Emily’s new man, however, she first sent tongues wagging about her new relationship in October, sharing a sneaky image while holding hands at the aforementioned basketball game.
Her ex Ryan, 37, finally confirmed their split last year after months of speculation.

The Married At First Sight star admitted to his Instagram followers at the time that he was back on the dating scene.
‘I went on a date on Sunday, I don’t go on too many dates, I’ve only just sort of started doing that,’ Ryan said.
While not revealing the identity of his date, Ryan went on to explain the rendezvous went completely wrong, with his date saying their ‘energies didn’t align’.
Ryan and Emily, who were engaged in 2022, had been the subject of split rumours since early last year.
The pair first raised eyebrows when they unfollowed each other on Instagram, with Ryan deleting posts involving Emily from his feed.
A source told Sky News Australia the pair had called it quits, two years after welcoming Sampson into the world.
‘Ryan and Emily are trying to find a new normal, which has been a real process,’ the insider told the publication.
‘Their number one priority is Sampson and ensuring he continues to feel supported by both parents. They haven’t felt the need to make public statements.’
The publication also reported Ryan had relocated to Brisbane and was living on his own after the split.
