Donna Kelce is offering a short but sweet reaction to her son, Travis Kelce, and Taylor Swift’s wedding over the holiday weekend at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The couple tied the knot on Friday in a star-studded ceremony that reportedly saw about 1,000 guests pack inside the iconic arena for a special night that’s being described as “intimate.”
While Donna has remained tight-lipped about the wedding, she was asked what she could share about the famous pair’s nuptials during an interview that was posted on Macy’s official Instagram account on Sunday. “I really can’t say a heck of a lot except it was magical, man, magical,” the mother replied.
Though she didn’t go into details about the headline-making event, Donna was also asked another timely question about what comes to mind when she thinks about the 4th of July. “I remember I used to take the boys [Travis and Jason Kelce) down to Lake Erie and we would watch the fireworks in Euclid, Ohio, and we had the best time,” she said.
Since Swift and Kelce’s big day, details have slowly begun to emerge. Following a 100-person rehearsal dinner reportedly held at the Infosys Theater inside the Garden on Thursday night, the main festivities got underway the following day.
The pair’s wedding was officially confirmed when a special sign that read “JusT&T Married!” appeared on screens outside the Garden Friday evening. The singer’s longtime publicist later revealed that both Swift and Kelce wore custom haute couture looks by Jonathan Anderson for Christian Dior.
As for other details, Adam Sandler officiated the wedding while Swift and Kelce’s brothers, Austin Swift and Jason Kelce, served as the man of honor and best man, respectively. On the entertainment front, Swift reportedly performed with Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney.
