President Donald Trump’s White House is grabbing the internet’s attention with its latest AI photo.
On Friday, May 15, the official White House X account decided to post an altered photo of Drake’s latest album cover titled Iceman.
“ICED OUT,” the White House captioned the photo as a logo of the president’s Washington D.C. home appeared in the top left corner of the album cover.
While Drake’s original album cover features a man’s hand in a blinged-out glove adorned with crystals, the White House’s edited version had that same hand holding a chain necklace with a “MAGA” pendant.
Us Weekly has reached out to Drake’s rep for comment.
When a news outlet posed the question, “The White House posting ICEMAN…?” Deputy Assistant to the President, Kaelan Dorr, replied via X, “Yes. Can confirm.”
After the White House shared the post, many users quickly sounded off on the image.
“We have the most unprofessional, immature government of all time,” one user shared via X. One follower added, “Gas is 12 trillion dollars a gallon and y’all on here playing around!”
Others didn’t appear to take the post seriously by any means.
“Love your sarcasm. Award winning stuff,” one X user wrote when responding to Dorr’s comment. Another commented, “We are witnessing an all time great Administration, soak it in.”
Although Drake, 39, tries to keep his political beliefs private, the Grammy winner once publicly criticized Trump, 79, during a London concert in 2017.
“If you think one man can tear this world apart, you’re out of your motherf***ing mind,” Drake told the crowd via Billboard. “It’s on us to keep this s*** together. F*** that man.”
In recent months, Trump and the White House have shared several AI-generated photos on their social media platforms.
Back in April, Trump sparked controversy after he posted an AI-generated image of himself as Jesus. While the post was seemingly removed from his page days later, it came after he criticized Pope Leo XIV for being “WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy.” (Trump later said he thought the AI image was him as a doctor working with the Red Cross.)
Weeks later, Trump shared an AI-generated photo featuring the commander-in-chief shirtless alongside members of his cabinet and an unidentified, bikini-clad woman, lounging in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
On May 12, Trump’s White House was sued for changing the pool without “mandatory procedures.” The National Park Service and the U.S. Department of the Interior, who are listed as defendants, have yet to publicly comment on the suit.
