Kai Trump vlogged grandpa Donald Trump’s inauguration for her YouTube channel, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at her busy schedule leading up to the big day.
“Today my grandpa becomes the president of the United States again. Let’s go,” she started the video, posted Tuesday.
The 17-year-old’s day began bright and early with glam followed by a church service before being whisked away to the US Capitol, where she snacked on cookies and Red Bull.
While she couldn’t film her grandpa getting sworn in, the video picked back up after the ceremony as they celebrated before the inauguration ball.
Kai called the “crazy” yet “memorable” weekend an “experience of a lifetime” as she rushed to get ready for the night of festivities.
The teen wore a “really cute” bedazzled gown by Sherri Hill with a corset bodice and high slit. She paired the look with her favorite sparkling Badgley Mischka heels.
“My favorite part of this dress is the corset part because it just makes it look really flattering,” she said of the silver dress. “I also love all the diamonds and silver stuff. I think it looks really nice on my skin tone.”
Before the ball began, Kai gave her nearly 800,000 subscribers a quick tour of the White House.
The golfer and her family entered the building through a side door. Some of the entryways were already decorated with photos of the 47th president — despite him only being sworn in hours earlier.
Kai took pictures with her dad, Donald Trump Jr., and the rest of her family in one of the main living spaces as they waited to meet up with the President.
“We are in the White House right now… this is pretty legendary,” she said.
The visit seemed to bring back old memories for the teen, who visited the historic building “maybe 20 times” during her grandfather’s first term as president.
“Did you know each room is a different color?” she asked while showing off the different lavish rooms — the “green room,” the “blue room,” and the “red room,” the last being her favorite.
She and Don Jr. practiced their father-daughter dance in the “red room” before making their way to the inaugural Liberty Ball.
After a long day of shaking hands and dancing, Kai returned to her hotel around 1 a.m. for some much-needed sleep.
“It was a really cool day and an experience of a lifetime — very historical,” she said. It was really nice to be there with the family and enjoy the moments.”
“Now I’m gonna go to bed because we gotta leave tomorrow morning!”
