Daniel Baldwin has claimed celebrities are in a ‘bidding war’ over alleged Diddy tapes amid fears the recordings will be released.
During an appearance on the PBD Podcast, Baldwin, 64, said the alleged footage was being sold directly to those appearing in the tapes.
‘He has videos of the parties,’ he said. ‘Now, what I’ve heard, which I don’t know how much of it is in mainstream media, I don’t really follow the story that much,’ he said.
‘But what I’ve heard from friends that are attorneys, friends of mine, that have represented me before, agents and so on, is that there’s a bidding war going on right now,’ he claimed.
‘They’re driving that price up. Because if you want your client and your famous actor to not be involved, or famous singer, to not come out, here’s the price.
‘And that they’re just selling to the individuals that are in those. This is what I’ve heard. They’re selling those videos,’ he said.

He theorized that a person who did appear in the videos would be fearful the footage would be released, stating the possible participant would not ‘want that video to come out.’
Daniel said he had met Diddy before and described him as kind and intelligent.
‘I’ve met him before,’ he said. ‘Very nice guy, very smart. Super business. He’s very successful. And I think that there’s a duality there.
‘There is the faces that showed up at the parties, or the event that went to the big party, and then there was the late night crowd, when everyone started going, and then the door’s got locked up, and the last 40, 30 people were there… And I was never at any of those,’ he clarified.
Daniel was then asked if what occurred at the parties was openly discussed by those who attended them with others who were not present.
‘I don’t like to say things that I know unless I see it… But was it discussed? Was there descriptions from people I know that were at those? Yes,’ he said.
Daniel added that what differentiated a Diddy party from a typical gathering was the manner in which they ended.
‘Does anyone ever come up to you at a certain hour and say, “Okay it’s time to go”? At those parties they did.
‘At a certain time he shut it down but not everyone left. So, anyone that wasn’t super famous or “I’m with him” or whatever, were exited from the house. You were gone.’

Daniel alleged there were numerous cameras installed throughout the party.
‘But people I don’t think realize was he had cameras all over the place, unbeknownst to them. And now he has all that footage, supposedly, this is what I’m told.’
Diddy has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, but has pleaded not guilty to all charges ahead of the trial set for May 5.
He was arrested in Manhattan in September and is currently being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.
It is alleged that the rapper would coerce and manipulate victims into taking part in days-long sexual performances, which he dubbed ‘freak offs’.
Among the most shocking claims is how federal agents seized 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant from his Miami and Los Angeles homes during raids earlier this year – with baby oil quickly trending on X at the time.
Diddy’s associates would allegedly ply victims with drugs to keep them compliant and would make threats against anyone refusing to engage, in claims similar to those made in a civil lawsuit brought by Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie last year.

In October, a witness who testified before the grand jury in Diddy’s trial previously claimed he had seen videos of major celebrities being ‘victimized’ at the hip-hop mogul’s notorious ‘freak-off’ parties.
Courtney Burgess testified before the grand jury about the tapes, which he says come from a flash drive kept by Diddy’s ex, Kim Porter.
The tapes are said to show at least two male stars who were ‘underage’ at the time.
It’s unclear if Burgess provided the videos to the grand jury, or whether he simply told the jury about them.
He joined NewsNation’s Banfield to describe some of what the footage shows, claiming ‘all’ of the stars featured appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Burgess, who says he was friends with Diddy, claims all of them were also ‘victimized’.
He did not name any of the celebrities said to be in the videos.
Burgess claims the videos were taken by cameras in Diddy’s homes that were not always obvious to those in the room.
He maintains that he was given the flash drive containing the videos by a friend.
His friend had obtained them from Porter, Burgess says.
It remains unclear if he has handed the tapes over to the authorities.
Burgess says he was friends with the rapper for 35 years, once loving him like a brother.
Now, he sees him as the devil.
‘At the time, I guess he was ambitious. Then from ambitious [he] went to doing anything. And then [he] from doing anything to didn’t care about nobody – who he could beat,’ Burgess told Banfield.
‘And then he ended up turning into Lucifer. And today, I’m looking at him – I know you all call him Diddy or Puffy – I call him Lucifer.’
