Denise Van Outen’s ex Eddie Boxshall has announced his engagement to girlfriend Caroline in an Instagram post on Thursday.
The DJ, 52, previously dated actress Denise, 51, for seven years before she called time on their relationship in 2022 after discovering unfaithful messages.
Eddie revealed he had proposed to the personal trainer on New Year’s Day while the couple enjoyed a romantic break away in Mallorca.
Sharing a loved-up snap, Caroline proudly displayed her sparkling diamond engagement ring, while Eddie captioned the post: ‘We did something yesterday 1.1.2026 ❤️’ alongside a ring emoji and the hashtag Mallorca.
Following the joyous news, friends and followers flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages.

It comes after Eddie went Instagram official with Caroline in 2023 and claimed he is the ‘happiest he’s ever been’.
The former Celebrity Googlebox star shared a snap as he cuddled up to the gorgeous blonde.
Denise ended her seven-year relationship with commodities trader Eddie in January 2022 after discovering unfaithful messages and went on to find love with Jimmy Barba.
However, the couple split in late 2023 after a whirlwind 18-month romance, with both confirming the separation.
After Eddie debuted his new partner at the time, fans were quick to spot the similarities between her and Denise, with one writing: ‘Anyone going to state the obvious?’
Only for the star to reply: ‘Yeah I’m the happiest I’ve ever been… well spotted!’.

Speaking about the split, Eddie told DailyMail in 2023: ‘There aren’t many breakups that are easy ones and, you know, they take their toll and it’s not a nice thing and so for me to keep myself so focused on something… Exercise is a huge part of my life.’
In July the year prior, he appeared to make a dig at his ex-girlfriend via Instagram, sharing a story with a voiceover explaining: ‘It is so much better to be alone than to be with someone who makes you feel alone’.
He previously branded Denise the ‘worst detective in the world’, after it was revealed that she found out about his cheating after discovering pictures and messages on his iPad.
He posted a black-and-white image of Inspector Clouseau, who is described as an ‘inept and incompetent police detective in the French Sûreté’ – and the accompanying caption led many to believe he was alluding to his ex’s detective skills.
