Demi Moore’s got everyone talking.
When the 63-year-old actress graced Gucci’s front row during Milan Fashion Week, she was sporting a new wet-looking bob that was a radical departure from her signature straight, waist-length hair.
Given Moore’s sworn she’ll never chop off her long locks, fans were puzzled — especially when the Hollywood icon attended the SAG Actor Awards days later with a sleek chignon.
Moore finally put the haircut rumors to rest on Wednesday, attending a Kérastase event with her usual flowing, center-parted hairstyle — and addressing the buzz about her supposed chop.
“Just being able to play and step into another facet of my personality” was fun to explore, she told the crowd, calling the temporary makeover an “incredible moment.”
Moore’s longtime hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos, was behind the viral bob, seemingly the work of a wig.
“Thanks @demimoore for always trusting me with ur looks !” Giannetos wrote on Instagram last weekend, sharing a snap of himself and his star client backstage at the Gucci show.
“It feels most like me,” Moore told People in January.
“Being able to change my look with wigs and pieces feeds my need for change but at the end of the day I love taking it down seeing my hair fall past my waist. It’s like coming home.”
