Danny Jones’s wife Georgia headed on a solo rural cabin retreat without the singer to recover from burnout, she has revealed.
Georgia, 38, held the fort at home while the McFly star jetted out to Australia in November to compete in I’m A Celebrity – where he was crowned King of the Jungle.
But in a candid post, Georgia has revealed that the pressures of solo parenting and moving house on her own during that time resulted in her feeling burnt out.
‘Over a month of solo parenting, moving house on my own, working hard on my career whilst Danny was in the jungle with snakes in his pants was A LOT!’ she wrote.
So heading into the New Year, Georgia revealed she needed to ‘do something for me’ and booked a wholesome woodland retreat with cabin company Unyoked.
Georgia took herself to snowy Shropshire where she stayed in a cabin and chopped wood, built a fire, enjoyed some reading time and soaked up nature.

But in a candid post, Georgia has revealed that the pressures of solo parenting and moving house on her own during that time resulted in her feeling burnt out
In a clip shared by the model on Instagram on Monday, Georgia could be seen keeping warm as her little cabin was surrounded by snow.
She captioned the post: ‘I was going into this New Year burnt out. Everything I didn’t want to feel entering 2025… I felt. Over a month of solo parenting, moving house on my own, working hard on my career whilst Danny was in the jungle with snakes in his pants was A LOT!
‘So whilst I was still in Australia I decided I needed to do something for me… a solo trip, one to push me out of my comfort zone but also one to give me the break I craved.
‘So… I booked a little cabin in the middle of nowhere, somewhere near Shropshire, and found a little nugget of calm in my overwhelmed brain.
‘I chopped fire wood, built fires, sat in silence, read books, slept, took in the views, watched the sheep in the nearby field… and it was perfect.
‘I pushed myself. When it started getting dark, when I got a log stuck on the cutter, when I thought I was going to get snowed in… I though about leaving… I thought “I can’t do this”. But I did! And now I’m going into this year super proud of myself. If you do one thing this year… Do this.’
It comes after Georgia broke down in tears in a very emotional Instagram video in November, while Danny was in Australia.
Georgia – who held the fort at home and looked after their six-year-old son Cooper while the singer was on I’m A Celeb – admitted she had been finding it ‘stressful’ without Danny around.

She said she felt a bit defeated after juggling solo parenting, her career and a house move all on her own recently.
In a raw and honest video, Georgia became visibly emotional as she shared her struggles with fans, but insisted she wants Danny to stay in the jungle for as long as possible.
She said: ‘So I’m a bit of an emotional one today, I think it’s just been bubbling.
‘Obviously house moves on its own is stressful and then working at the same time, solo parenting and having a husband in a jungle.
‘I think today it’s just kind of come to a head and the last thing I want to do is not be my authentic self which is what my Instagram is.
‘I show real life, I show who I am, I show ups and downs and highs and lows so that you guys feel less lonely with anything that you might be struggling with.
Danny Jones’ wife Georgia, 37, broke down in tears in a very emotional Instagram video on Wednesday, admitting she’s finding it ‘stressful’ without the I’m A Celeb star, 38, around
Since the McFly star left for Australia over two weeks ago, Georgia has been holding the fort at home and looking after their six-year-old son Cooper
‘So I’m just having a bit of a wobbly and I’m just a bit tired and just making sure I’m looking after everyone and making everyone happy.
‘Keep voting for Danny to do trials, vote for him to win because we are so proud of him and he needs to stay in for as long as possible. We will be going out their and supporting him.
‘His mum’s currently out there, so that’s great. But I will continue to show up on here as my authentic self.
‘Thank you so much for all the support for Danny so far, it doesn’t go unnoticed.’
