It comes after last week viewers were left fuming after Charlie Brooks became the fifth contestant to be eliminated and accused judges of ‘overmarking’ Anton Ferdinand.
The EastEnders favourite, 43, who was partnered up with pro Eric Radford, battled it all out against the former footballer, 39, to earn a spot in the skate-off dance, but ultimately lost out on her place in the competition.
While saying goodbye after learning she was the next to be eliminated, Charlie candidly said she was ready to go after ‘weeks of hard graft’.
The actress told hosts Holly and Stephen that she began to feel ‘out of her depth’ as the show unfolded, acknowledging that could have been the ‘right person’ to be eliminated.
But viewers of the hit ITV show were not of the same opinion, and instead remarked Charlie danced ‘much better’ than Anton, claiming judges ‘over marked’ him on purpose – commenting on X:
‘Okay but dan had more mistakes than both charlie and Michaela and it was Vanessa that did all the tricks, he just stayed on two feet for the whole dance…. but sure let’s give him 9.5s #DancingOnIce’.
