Country crooner Hannah Dasher revealed one of the ‘weirdest’ DMs she ever received was from a ‘famous and married celebrity.’
While making an appearance on the Like a Farmer podcast this week, the 40-year-old singer-songwriter dished on the brash correspondence, without disclosing the individual’s identity.
She did, however, hint at their level of fame and power when she said that ‘could have’ led to bigger opportunities in her musical career if not for her Christian faith.
‘Well, I don’t know that I could share it because they’re famous and married,’ Dasher declared with a laugh.
‘So let me think of another one,’ she told host Pat Spinosa when asked about the risque messages she’s had pop up in her inbox.
Dasher didn’t disclose how explicit the message from the male celeb was.

On the same podcast episode, Dasher also opened up about losing her record deal several years ago and becoming an independent artist managing her own career.
The singer started pursuing a career in music after graduating from college and moving to Nashville.
On the podcast, she talked about working at Bass Pro Shops to support herself while working towards becoming a country music star.
She later signed with Sony and ATV Music Publishing in partnership with Jaren Johnston of The Cadillac Three in the early 2010s.
Several years later, Brad Paisley recorded her co-written song, Go to Bed Early, for his Love and War album.
In 2021, she signed a recording deal with Sony Music Nashville and released her debut EP, The Half Record, but shortly after dropping her EP, she said Sony ‘pulled the plug’ on her recording deal.
When asked about adversities she has faced in her music career, she said: ‘I think losing my record deal was a huge humbling that needed to occur in me.
Dasher admitted ‘it was the last thing that I thought was ever going to happen.’
