Coronation Street star Paula Lane has welcomed her third child, as she shared her baby boy’s sweet name in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
The actress, 39, revealed she’d welcomed a son named Patrick with her husband Tom Shaw, as she posted a selection of snaps with the newborn.
One of the snaps showed Paul cradling her son, and she sweetly wrote in the caption that her baby boy had ‘completed’ their family.
The star previously played Kylie Platt on Corrie from 2010 to 2016, and also had a stint as Ella Forster on Emmerdale, before quitting in December 2024.
Paula wrote: ‘Welcome to the ranch Patrick. We are all completely and utterly in love.
‘So longed for…thank you for completing us.’

The actress had shared back in August that she was expecting, and has now announced she’s welcomed a son with husband Tom Shaw
Paula first revealed she was expecting her third child back in August, posting a heartwarming photo to announce the news.
Uploading a picture of her scan, she placed it in between cards informing her son and daughter that they were set to become big siblings.
Paula wrote: ‘Some special news to share from us @sirtomshaw.
‘Christmas just got a bit more magical. Our baby boy due December 2025.’
Paula and her husband Tom Shaw, who married in 2014, already share two children, Arthur and Penny.
They welcomed Arthur at home on New Year’s Eve 2014, with Penny following two years later in July 2016.
Paula joined the Yorkshire-set in 2023 and made her fiery debut on-screen in January 2024.
She was introduced as a no-nonsense receptionist and soon became friends with Mandy Dingle (Lisa Reilly) and was also a love interest for Dr Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson).

In a playful snap, Paul’s husband Tom posed while cradling his new son Patrick, and holding a bottle of whisky with the brand Paddy

The star previously played Kylie Platt on Corrie from 2010 to 2016, and also had a stint as Ella Forster on Emmerdale, before quitting in December 2024
However, in December 2024 it was revealed that she had quietly quit the soap for new opportunities, as per The Sun.
The publication reported at the time that there had been an update to her Spotlight talent page revealing she would stop filming in February 2025.
Soon after entering the soap, Ella was revealed to have killed a friend of hers during her childhood and struggled to move on in her adult life.
It was later revealed that she was pregnant with Liam’s child despite his love for Chas Dingle (Lisa Pargeter).
She sadly lost the baby as Liam grows his future with Chas.
Paula has also previously starred as Kylie Platt in Coronation Street and dramatically left the soap in 2016 after being brutally stabbed to death outside the kebab shop by Clayton Hibbs.
She died in the arms of her husband, David Platt, played by Jack P. Shepherd in final scenes.
Following Kylie’s tragic death, David went on to find love with Clayton’s mum Shona Ramsey.
After leaving Corrie Paula appeared in Call The Midwife and played Lauren in the UK tour of Kinky Boots.
