Summer House star Ciara Miller is redefining her friendships and leaning into her “f*** it era” after her once-close friend Amanda Batula began dating her ex West Wilson.
“They thought I was guarded before? Mm-hmm,” Ciara, 30, says with a laugh, exclusively telling Us that the recent Summer House drama has caused her to reassess who she keeps in her inner circle. “I’m just kidding, but, like, yeah, I definitely feel like you hit a threshold where you’re like certain types of people [don’t serve me].”
Ciara, who is promoting her partnership with Celsius’ for their Spritz Vibe Summer Edition Sparkling Limoncello Twist drink, adds, “You can’t be friends with the insecure girl. You can’t do it.”
While Ciara didn’t call out former BFF Amanda, 34, directly, she appeared to be referring to the In the City star amid their fallout over West, 31.
“You can’t be friends with the insecure girl,” Ciara reiterates to Us. “You can’t, you know, try to breathe life into someone that doesn’t see it themselves.” (Throughout Ciara and Amanda’s friendship, Ciara was an advocate for Amanda finding her voice and betting on herself when she was struggling in her marriage to Kyle Cooke.)
Ciara notes that the recent drama in her life has also resulted in some self-reflection and house cleaning in the friendship department.
“You gotta take a double, triple, quadruple take at some of the people in your life. And it’s definitely — it strengthened my gut,” she shares. “Like my gut did not fail me. My gut was right.”

Ciara gave her candid thoughts on the matter just months after Amanda and West confirmed in March that their platonic connection had turned into a romantic relationship after previously denying they were anything more than friends.
The revelation sent shockwaves through the Bravoverse especially since Amanda moved on with West less than two months after she and estranged husband, Kyle, 43, announced their split in January. (Kyle and Amanda were married four years prior to their breakup.)
Amanda and West also received backlash for how they handled telling both Kyle and Ciara, whom West dated in 2023 and was getting cozy with again during summer 2025.
A source exclusively told Us in April that Ciara and West had hooked up “recently, about three to four weeks ago” and she wasn’t told about his budding romance with Amanda.
Ciara, for her part, spoke her peace during the three-part Summer House season 10 reunion, calling Amanda out for hooking up with her ex — whom Amanda knew firsthand caused her emotional turmoil — while denying it to her face.
“There are a million other f***ing guys in New York City. You know how much that f***ed me up. You chose the one guy [that I dated],” Ciara yelled at Amanda during part 1 of the reunion, which aired in May. “You did it on purpose because you’re a snake. You’re a snake in the f***ing grass. You move silent but you’re f***ing deadly.”
Amid the scandal and subsequent fallout, Us confirmed that neither West nor Amanda will be returning to Summer House for season 11, which is currently filming. Ciara, however, is coming back to the Hamptons and is ready for her next season.

“I guess I’m just kind of like in my f*** it era,” Ciara tells Us about her motto going into the new season. “Like, you know what? Whatever comes my way, I can handle it.”
The model, who is also gearing up to compete on Dancing With the Stars, admits she is still learning how to navigate so much change.
“I’m actually happy to enter this 30th chapter with real people in my life, real friends. I’m thankful for the position that I’m in,” Ciara says. “And you can’t take everyone with you.”
She explains, “It’s always, you know, interesting and shocking, like, who’s gonna fall off and who’s gonna come with you to that next chapter. But all glory be to God, like it’s all for a reason.”
As Ciara has been finding her footing — and taking back her voice — she has also been slaying the career game, including her recent partnership with Celsius to launch its Spritz Vibe Summer Edition collection featuring an all-new Sparkling Limoncello Twist flavor.
“It’s the perfect flavor for summer. I love a summer spritz,” Ciara tells Us of why she instantly signed on to work with Celsius. “When Celsius was like, ‘Do you want to partner with us for our limoncello?’ I was like, ‘Of course I do. I’m the queen of Italy, and I would be in Italy if I wasn’t in the Hamptons. But here I am.’”
She puts the drink in her purse and takes one everywhere she goes.
“I’m like, ‘I’m not leaving the house without it,’” Ciara shares, adding that with all her recent traveling Celsius has helped her “adjust” to each time zone with ease.
“Everyone wants to drink. I’m like, ‘Guys, I’m gonna take a pause. I’m gonna drink a Celsius as opposed to drinking a rosé right now because I just can’t do it,’” Ciara tells Us of her go-to replacement when in the Hamptons. “It’s all about balance and trading other things for Celsius because I’m just like, ‘I need a second, you know, to really get back into the swing of things.’”
