Christina Hall had a hard time filming “The Flip Off” with then-husband Josh Hall.
The HGTV personality quipped to Us Weekly Wednesday that “it was better” that her ex was axed from the series because “the show would have sucked” with him in it for more than one episode.
She claimed that Josh weaponized his “insecurity” over her amicable dynamic with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, whom she divorced in 2017.
“If I would laugh at Tarek, I would get the silent treatment for a week,” Christina, 41, alleged.
The “Christina on the Coast” star, who married Josh in 2022, told the outlet that “somebody with more confidence” could have handled the situation.
“[Someone] would be able to say, ‘This is my wife, but yes, she does this for TV. She was filming with Tarek when I met her,’” she explained. “You know what you signed up for.”
Christina continued, “There was a rationale there that didn’t make sense. … I’m your wife, and I’m choosing you, but you’re choosing to make my life harder over insecurities.”
She noted that filming the show likely “sped up” her split from the 44-year-old.
News broke in July 2024 that the pair had called it quits — and the former couple have thrown continuous shade on social media ever since.
Last week, Josh addressed a viral clip from “The Flip Off” in which he told his then-wife to “shut up” during a tense argument.
At the time, Josh called Christina “rude” and advised her not to “get confused” over her last name.
Josh alleged via Instagram Stories that the drama between them was “manufactured” by the network for ratings.
Christina clapped back with a post of her own, writing that “no one told him to be rude to” her, slamming his behavior as “all natural.”
She also posted a throwback crying selfie allegedly taken after a day of shooting as a “reminder” that she “deserve[s] better.”
The “Christina in the Country” star has walked down the aisle thrice — marrying Ant Anstead in between El Moussa and Josh — and is the mother of daughter Taylor, 14, son Brayden, 9, and son Hudson, 5.
El Moussa, for his part, wed Heather Rae Young in October 2021, welcoming son Tristan one year later.
