Christian Siriano’s hands are full, but at least they’re decked out in diamonds.
The fashion designer arrived in NYC at 6 a.m. Tuesday for a brunch celebrating his Rare Carat jewelry collaboration, just hours after post-Emmys celebrations in LA came to a close.
Siriano dressed several stars for the awards show’s red carpet — including Kaley Cuoco, who’s currently pregnant with her second child with fiancé Tom Pelphrey.
“She still wanted to be sexy,” Siriano told Page Six Style of the “Big Bang Theory” star, who looked gorgeous and glowing in her custom pink babydoll gown with bump-framing cutouts.
But it was Lisa Ann Walter’s look that was the most challenging to craft, as it featured dramatic ruched tulle sleeves.
“She was going for vampy,” Siriano said us of the “Abbott Elementary” actress, describing her dress as the “opposite” of Cuoco’s pastel look.
It was a race to the finish to complete the red carpet looks — plus outfits for Michael Urie and Brittany Broski — since this marks the first time the designer’s New York Fashion Week show has been scheduled so close to the Emmys.
And while we can’t all score a front-row seat at one of Siriano’s presentations, his new Rare Carat collection is just a click away. The fashion whiz’s personal favorite pieces put a fresh twist on classics, from studs framed with gorgeous pink stones to an engagement ring with sapphire accents.
Everything’s made to mix and match seamlessly with accessories in shoppers’ existing wardrobes, with the designer telling us he especially loves real diamonds styled alongside costume jewelry.
And don’t be surprised if you spot these designs on a red carpet in the near future; Siriano told us he’ll be putting them on clients “for like a million years.”
