It’s February somewhere … but not for Chrissy Teigen.
Ahead of the live finale of Netflix’s “Star Search” on Tuesday, Teigen — who’s a judge on the show — walked the red carpet in a totally see-through dress covered with sparkling rhinestones.
Designed by Ilkyaz Ozel of The New Arrivals, the 40-year-old model’s Costes gown ($2,150) features a built-in bodysuit overlaid with embellished mesh.
Teigen’s hair was parted in the middle, cascading down her shoulders in loose, ’70s-style disco waves.
Along with fellow judges Jelly Roll, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Anthony Anderson, Teigen was also joined on the red carpet by husband John Legend, who took a decidedly more casual approach in distressed jeans, a white T-shirt and a camel-toned cardigan sweater.
Teigen shared with People that her new on-screen role has rubbed off on her children, who have taken to judging her in their own home.
“Este, my 3-year-old, her favorite thing in the world, is just running around saying five stars to nothing,” she shared, adding, “My older ones are more judgmental with it. They’ll make jokes about my meals or something.”
Even so, she concluded, “I think it’s given us just this look of power in the household. We know what we’re talking about all the time. So our kids, I think they respect me more now.”
