Allu Arjun‘s movie Pushpa 2: The Rule is gaining a lot of attention. Its box office numbers are ruling the headlines. However, the film also got embroiled in a major controversy due to the stampede case. Allu Arjun also suffered an arrest because of the same. On December 4, the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule took place. Actor, his wife and Rashmika Mandanna visited Sandhya theatre to watch the film. Fans gathered in larger number to catch a glimpse of the star. It led to a stampede in which a woman lost her life. Her son also got injured and was rushed to the hospital.
Health update of the boy who got injured in a stampede during Pushpa 2: The Rule premiere
As per the latest reports, it is stated that the boy named remains to be on ventilator even after 10 days of the incident. As per a report in The Hindu, the hospital has shared the latest update on the child named Sri Teja’s health. He is admitted to KIMS Cuddles Hospital. The statement reveals that the 8-year-old boy remains to be PICU on ventilator support but minimal requirements. It also states that the boy is getting ‘intermittent fever’. The statement reads, “The boy continues to be in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) on ventilator support with minimal requirements. He is hemodynamically stable and tolerating tube feedings. However, he has intermittent fever, remains in an altered sensorium, and exhibits dystonic movements.” As per the reports, the boy had to be rushed to the hospital due to asphyxiation.
After the unfortunate incident, an FIR was filed against Allu Arjun, the security team and the owners of the theatre. On December 13, Allu Arjun faced an arrest. Police arrived at his home in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad and took him to the station. He was then taken for medical examination and lower court ordered 14-day judicial custody. However, the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail for four weeks on a bond of Rs 50000. He did spend a night in jail before he was released. After her arrived home, many celebrities like Vijay Deverakonda, Rana Dagubbati, Naga Chatainya, Sukumar, Dil Raju, Adivi Sesh and others met him at his residence.
