“Brat” behavior.
Charli XCX seemingly shaded Green Day while attending a 2025 Coachella afterparty.
The “360” singer, born Charlotte Aitchison, posted photos via Instagram on Sunday from a bash in Indio, Calif., following her star-studded show the night prior.
In some pictures, she posed alongside a DJ and her friends wearing a white mini dress and a silk sash that read, “Miss Should Be Headliner.”
Fans thought the message was a dig at Green Day, who headlined Coachella the day Charli performed.
“please. as if she’s the same caliber as green day and i’m not even that into green day,” wrote one X user.
“To the main public she’s not bigger than Green Day,” added another.
“I loathe Green Day, but they’re way bigger and more well-known than she is,” wrote a third netizen.
“one ‘summer’ album and these girls are acting like they’re bigger than everyone else,” said a fourth person.
Several other fans defended Charli, 32, by saying she should have headlined Saturday’s music festival.
“it’s the way ‘i love it’ is bigger then the entire career of green day,” wrote one X user.
“coachella letting charli get this disrespected needs to be investigated… imagine picking green day over the future of pop,” added another.
“Charli deserved that headline slot, no cap,” wrote a third supporter.
Page Six has reached out to Green Day for comment but did not immediately hear back.
During Charli’s performance Saturday, she brought out several stars, including Billie Eilish, Lorde and Troye Sivan.
Charli then hosted her private party at the Guess Jeans compound with her celebrity friends Julia Fox, Emma Chamberlain, Reneé Rapp, Anya-Taylor Joy, Timothée Chalamet, Justin Bieber and Cara Delevingne.
Guests enjoyed curated drinks like Patrón El Alto and Gin & Juice.
Meanwhile, Green Day — which consists of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool — brought the house down with their hits classic hits, including “American Idiot.”
Both Charli and Green Day are scheduled to return to Coachella for the festival’s second weekend this coming Saturday.
